Right in the center of the city, so many eating options nearby. We were in town for a wedding and it fulfilled everything we needed for the wedding activities. Very stress free with staff available whenever needed!

There were 2 situations that weren't 100% ideal. The first was we got coffee from the cafe in the lobby delivered to our room, my girlfriend ordered a cappuccino and the staff said there was no milk and brought her an espresso. This was hard to believe as they do breakfast service. The second was the room service after the first night. They left us with 1 towel and left a dirty cleaning rag in the room - these were very minor issues and I personally would stay there again.

The location is ideal, and easy to walk from straight into the streets of Rennes. I walked from the train station easily, although the pavements are quite bumpy. The breakfast was exceptional, plenty of choice , buffet style. Lots of drink options, loose leaf teas, and lovely coffee. The staff were really nice, young, hard working and helpful if need be. The bed was comfortable , nice sheets, pillows a bit soft but there were four. The shower was powerful and hot.

The carpet had dog hair on it when I arrived and also the bed spread, which upset me , seeing as it was a pricey room. I asked for a very good clean the next day , and this was done, so all was well. It does beg the question how a hotel can allow dogs in expensive carpeted rooms , it just isn’t nice! The bathroom was a bit on the small side considering the spacious bedroom, and the towels rather small and thin.

Excellent and friendly staff. Excellent "petit déjeuner". Centrally located wrt center town, train station, etc. Close to all that is required for a traveler. Car parking under the hotel was a nice feature for a couple of nights. I could walk anywhere in town. Close to the Vilaine river which except for its brown color, has its charm. I would highly recommend it and would go back to it if going back to Rennes in the future.

On the 5th floor, I only had the view of the sky as my view was obstructed by the remnant wall of an old "imprimerie". At least my room was private from any one looking in. My son located on the other side of the corridor, had an excellent view of the courtyard. Good for him!

The location was excellent, Value for money with good sized rooms. Attentive well informed staff. Great facilities. Comfortable beds. Parking on site real added bonus.

Single breakfast cost of nineteen (€19.00) euro per person was far to expensive when surrounded by local cafe and bars charging eight €8.00 euro for the same menu When booking rooms the hotel should provide more details of the one way vehicle access system! (confusing due to directional signs) prohibitive except for hotel access? The bedroom was as expected with the exception of the two single low quality pillows. We had to request additional pillows through reception, a minimum of two per customer stored in the room if required would help.

Location was great. We arrived at night so didn’t really have a chance to gauge where we were. Next morning we realized how close we were to walking everywhere.

The hotel was very quiet, it was almost like we were the only ones there. Felt a little odd, office staff sits in a back office and not at the front desk so you feel like your bothering them. Although everyone was very nice and accommodating

It is very central and a very nice hotel which is very clean and we rate as very important

I cant say anything negative here about the actual hotel as there was nothing we didnt like but we did find that on check out the gentleman we dealt with on this particular day was a little abrupt with us and we were surprised by this as all our previous stays and check outs were wonderful hence we always go back and we still will maybe he was having a bad day which can happen

I was able to check in early as my room was ready which I really appreciated. The room was very clean and it was great to have a kettle in the room. The shower was also very good. The hotel was only 13 to 15 minutes from the train station and about 5 from the historic centre .Very close to the art museum.

The main strength of the hotel is the location - quite central, so you can reach any sights on foot. Our room faced the inner courtyard garden, which features a fountain - quite pleasant to listen to. The beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was quite good, but pricey.

Our room, though called deluxe, was quite small. Since the sofa was open, we could clearly see the floor underneath hadn't been cleaned in months, there was dust and objects lying around - in stark contrast to the rest of the room.

Well I could not believe that a night porter had no access to giving me a bottle of wine around 11pm as I had to go back to room while others stayed out this was the first time this ever happened to me in France

This is a hotel we have used before....and will use again. The location is perfect for meandering5 around the city centre. The rooms are a good size and there is a good choice at breakfast. The added bonus is the underground parking on site.
