The location is perfect if you are travelling by train, as you can walk there in 5-10 minutes. The host prepared for us a self baked bread and self made yogurt for breakfast. She was very flexible and arranged for an early check in as well as let us leave the bags at her property in the morning, so that we could have a walk in town before we took our train. We travelled with two children and got the whole attic to ouselves, with our own bathroom, which gave us a lot of privacy. The area was very calm and quiet and we enjoyed the personal touch which this location offered.

(not related to the location, but good to know). The train station is a bit confusing with different levels and exits. You need to follow the signs to the South Exit or South Carpark on the 1st floor to get to the right side of the railtrack to reach the location.

We had a huge bedroom in the attic with excellent facilities. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast contained home made bread, yogurts and jam and was enough to set us up for the morning. It was very well situated for Rennes and was just a few minutes walk to the Metro. The host was charming and very helpful. We had a private parking space in front of the house which was really useful as we just left the car there for the duration of our stay.

There were many stairs up to the house and a winding staircase up to our bedroom which would make it difficult for someone who had difficulty walking.

Good location, on site parking (bit tight for a large car) Quiet, good size bedroom and shower room.

Rather sparse breakfast, no second drinks offered, just toast, cake and yogurt ( only three pots for five people.) The picture shown is NOT the building the chambre d’hote is in, rather misleading.

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well appointed and the welcome was warm and helpful. Excellent wifi made communication with home easy. Our hostess organised our airport taxi and communicated well.

accessibility is not so easy as there are steep steps which you need to climb, both outside leading to front door and inside property to reach bedroom.

The room was large and comfortable. We had on site parking. The host was really friendly and provided a great breakfast.

A lovely French home in a quiet residential location only 5 minutes from the railway station. Nice breakfast with delicious homemade yoghourt.

The location was convenient. Madame was very agreeable.

The home owner was very welcoming and cooked her own bread and other delicious food for breakfast. The room was well appointed and had all the facilities we wanted/needed.

This is nothing to do with the property or the home owner but we thought we had booked a city central location. However we needed to use the metro every time we wanted to go out for drinks/food. This was extremely easy to do as it was 5/10 minute walk to the railway station. What was misleading was the picture which we thought was of the property but was in fact Rennes town hall which was quite a long way from the actual property. We had difficulty in finding the property due to the many one way streets.

Good price with a convenient parking spot.

The photo shown for Chambres de Condate shows a massive structure while in reality, it was a bed & breakfast Bldg. Breakfast was just toast and muffins.
