Perfect location right on the banks of the Saône, with the restaurant at the water’s edge. The room was large with a sofa area, a huge bed and little balcony with table & chairs. All very well appointed. Clean, good size bathroom with walk in shower. There is a fridge and full size kettle. The food is very good and the restaurant team are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Not a dislike, just a ‘be aware’, take English teabags and milk for your room - and the teabags for breakfast. Breakfast was not as ‘slick’ as the evening restaurant. We weren’t successful in getting two pots of hot water to make tea….or the box of teabags! No problem as we had our own! The box sat on another table with other guests.

This is a fabulous unit for cyclists on the EuroVelo 6. The hosts have a secure bike garage. The room is first floor, very well appointed, has a coffee maker, and has AIR-CONDITIONING. We cycled in on a very hot day and spent the whole afternoon just resting on the air-conditioned bed. It is very well located - right on the Saone Rive with great balcony views to the bridge. The restaurant below is very popular and the riverside tables had diners all day. We dined there that evening and the food, staff and views were all excellent. Wifi was great, the bathroom was very modern - rainforest shower with plenty of hot water.

It was all perfect - I only wish I had booked a longer stay.

I blame Booking.com for this one. The hotel was closed up when we arrived. Since we didn't have a European cell phone, we had to scratch around for someone to call reception, which, after a half hour, we were able to do (we do not speak French, which was an issue here). Madame HAD written us via Booking.com site, telling us the keypad code and our room number (this is fact, I saw her "sent" message the next day), but Booking.com did not forward it to us.

This small hotel is in a great location next to the River Soane and on the edge of the beautiful village of Saint-Jean-de-Losne. The room was great and it made my stay really enjoyable. It was newly renovated in a pleasing contemporary style and it showcased some beautiful old beams that were part of the building structure. The room and the en-suite shower room were both spacious and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The weather was extremely hot during my stay, however the air conditioning was efficient and very quiet, which made my room a very pleasant place to stay! There was a balcony overlooking the River Saone with a comfortable chair - this was great but the trees could have done with pruning at the time of my stay to open out the view a little more. People with mobility problems should be aware that the room is accessible only by a flight of steps. However the steps are modern and in good condition and there is a good handrail. Able bodied people will not have any problems. I had forgotten to book a table in the restaurant on the second evening and despite the restaurant being fully booked, the proprietor was kind enough to find me a table and his kindness was very much appreciated by me. The (continental) breakfast, lunchtime and evening meals were good and represented good value for money.

I had to depart very early in the morning before the kitchen opened for breakfast. I asked the proprietor the evening before my departure if he could give me some breakfast items to take with me but he declined, saying that he had nothing to give me because the breakfast items would not be delivered until morning. Surely he had something in stock (such as fruit, yoghurt, or breakfast bars) that he could have given to me?

Really lovely two bedroom apartment right by the river Saone, well equipped, spacious, and central. Fully equipped kitchen. Good restaurant too, with a tasty French breakfast every morning

The entrance and the stairway leading up to the apartment ! The code to open the door sent to us by booking.com was not correct, luckily the helpful staff in the restaurant were able to let us in, but we could not work out how to lock the apartment again.

Don’t be put off by the outside single side door appearance on arrival. We were sent the digicode by SMS and our room number. We still checked in at the bar for courtesy but could have entered straight away, so easy to access. Only a steep set of stairs up to the rooms so not good if you have a mobility problem. But wow, when getting to the top of the stairs and opening the bedroom door, what a find! Good size room, very clean, generous bathroom (toilet creaked a little which was slightly off-putting, but it does stay in the wall!😂) Patio sliding doors onto small terrace with table, chairs and deckchair overlooking the Soane. Lovely! Breakfast was in the bar downstairs. All very fresh. The staff are lovely too. Most welcoming and helpful. We ate on the terrace at the side of the Soane. Lovely setting. Food was ‘simple’ but fine.

The menu is somewhat limited - we prefer not to eat meat but had no choice but to eat the chicken kebabs, so if you’re exclusively vegetarian, not easy.

The hotel was Very clean and the room and en-suite was large and well-appointed. The staff were very friendly and our evening meals were of a very high standard and excellent value for money.

Breakfast is very basic - coffee in a flask, orange juice, Croissant, bread, pancakes and jam.

The entrance up to the apartment was quite grotty - so the quality of the apartment was quite a surprise. Didn't see any fire exits from the apartment, which would be helpful considering it was above a pizza restaurant and on the 3rd floor. Air con in the bedroom would have been welcome as it was very hot. However, would definitely stay here again.

We found access/ parking a little confusing with the summer weekend road closure & google maps not telling us. Not actually a problem once we’d worked it out!

Beautifully decorated, large modern bedroom and excellent bathroom. Access is very simple and very nice bar restaurant below the rooms.

It was relatively expensive as had to have breakfast. Breakfast was minimal, coffee, croissant and some baguette/jam. The restaurant was also quite expensive but we had a very good meal.
