This hotel is in a beautiful hilltop location and a beautiful walk along the Bay to Saint Jean de Luz where there are many wonderful places to eat, shop and explore. The staff is SUPERB!

The only small drawback is if you sat in the formal restaurant area (inside and outside) you were required to order from the expensive menu.

Beautifully located in the hills of st Jean de Luz with magnificent views. Apartments are ideal for the self catering needs of a family but with the niceties of a hotel (room service and daily cleaning). The stand out has to be the infinity pool ..it was the perfect spot to take in those views.

The other side of being on a hill is that you need to be being a shopping list as it is quite the hike up and down to the shops! It would be great if the hotel rented bikes so we could do a few quick trips when needed. Also a minor point but it would be great to have a clothes horse to for wet towels and swimsuits. It took from our lovely balcony view a bit when 5 people started hanging their towels and swimming gear on the railings!

Generally all good, nice bed and bedding, we had door out to the garden. Nice staff, nice terrace and gardens and pool, lovely views, and very quiet

We arrived after the usual lunch hours and were not able to order anything nice to eat at the restaurant, and what we did get was not really very good, surprisingly low standard for such a nice place! Missing body lotion too in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the reception staff. Breakfast on the outside terrace was very relaxing

We had a room with a terrace which just had sun beds. We would have found it more comfortable with seats to sit on. However there was a lovely communal seating area so we sat there instead.

the view is great and since this is not their peak period, the hotel was quiet

I would rate this hotel exceptional if it wasnt for the smoking. I had a main floor room with a terrace. I prefer to keep the patio door open for air. the hotel has no smoking in the rooms but clients can smoke on their terrace. the next door person was smoking and the smoke and smells was coming in to my room. I do not support that and I was forced to close my patio door.

A beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings with views of the sea. Our family room was large and had everything we needed although no milk with the tea and coffee making facilities, but I’m sure if we had asked we would have been provided with some. Beds were big and very comfortable, lots of storage space, good sized bathrooms and a fridge & safe in each room. Everywhere was clean and tastefully decorated. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly and those we dealt with spoke excellent English. The continental breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. The weather could have been better, but we took full advantage of the pools and loungers with exceptional views. We were only sorry that due to our travel plans elsewhere we were only able to stay one night.

Great location and amazing long and deep pool. . Good restaurant with good food. However we have struggled to order when we’re dining second time .

The biggest minus is very poor buffet for breakfast. It is ridiculous to pay almost 400 euro a night in a big hotel and get only so limited choice . We would stay longer than 2 nights would be very frustrating.

Best hotel at Saint Jean De Luz. It has big and comfortable rooms for families. A quiet and chic hotel with sea view and a very good restaurant. I also advise the breakfast

The dinner menu of the restaurant should also have a meat option except pork 😉

Excellent hotel on the cliff tops of St Jean de Luz. Lovely walk down hill by the sea - 40 minutes into the town or in the other direction along the clifftops to the Botanical Garden. Free Parking. Very nice pool - we had the pool to ourselves with it being slightly rainy day 😀

Enjoyed everything

This was an apartment on the grounds and a little maybe unused it seemed, though it had a pretty good view of the sea. The room had a good terrace in the shade.

the 'walk' to the town centre was down hill and very steep uphill back - about 20 mins walk. Perhaps a shuttle bus service would help as we hired a car due to the heat.
