PERFECT hidden gem. Quiet, calm, and welcoming. The whole room was comfortable, and the pool was tranquil. Kim was the perfect host. She was so sweet and friendly, made us a basket of breakfast in the morning. We woke up to it on the terrace. Fig compote made from the fig tree on the property was to die for! I’ll miss this dearly. We felt right at home immediately and will definitely be returning to Lone Star house. We also left behind a laptop bag and Kim was more than happy to help us keep it safe for us while we arranged a retrieval.

The property is located about 15 minutes walk from the beach and town. It has a beautiful pool with comfortable sun loungers and sun umbrellas and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day sightseeing or if you just want to have a peaceful time all day there. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and have everything you need including hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and lots of other little helpful touches. Breakfast is served on your own private terrace by the host, Kim, who is discreet but helpful and does everything she can to make your stay perfect. She goes out of her way to provide anything you need and can provide information on the area, the best restaurants, transport etc. We stayed four nights and could easily have stayed longer. Lone Star House is a delightful place.

Our host Kim was very welcoming and made some great suggestions of things to do and see in Sainte Maxime. Our room was very comfortable and private at the back of the property. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast of fresh croissants, baguettes, fruit, yogurt and homemade marmalade and jam. Such a lovely property within walking distance of the town centre and many local restaurants.

Kim was a fantastic host. She gave us recommendations for restaurants, bars and directions to Cannes to avoid traffic. The breakfast was fantastic with home made jam and marmalade. It’s a very homely place, quiet but within walking distance of the bars and restaurants of st Maxime. There’s a lovely swimming pool and parking for your car. I would completely recommend, we had a lovely couple of days here.

Kim is a fantastic lady, taking care of you from the welcoming and until the bye bye hug. The room and the bathroom clean. The breakfast was taken to our main door. The pool is just there. All is fine at the Lone House. Look forward to the next opportunity. Thanks a lot Kim !

Nothing. All was just what I was expecting.

We received such a warm welcome from Veronique and Kim - it immediately felt like a home from home. It was great to be able to walk into town and take the ferry to St. Tropez without having to drive. A perfect location for visiting nearby villages too. Very handy supermarket five minutes walk away.

Perfect to get ready for the International Marathon of Saint Tropez. The location is convenient (close to the village and the race’s start). Kim our host was very kind and flexible allowing us to do a late check out, keep the car in the property and thus we were relax to finnish the race, take the bus and get back our stuff on Sunday.

Kim is an excellent host , and nothing is too much trouble for her. Have stayed here before and will continue to do so. The breakfast she serves up is wonderful in a little hamper, which is such a fabulous touch . 10 out of 10!

Had everything we needed. Pool was very accessible and plenty of sunbeds. Kim was very attentive and helpful.

Location was good in terms of access to town but the last 150 metres walking up the hill was rather exhausting in the heat.

Kim was very kind, the breakfast was good with fresh products, the Wifi was good, the bedroom and the bathroom were big and there was a beautiful private garden, the swimming pool was nice and there was a large private parking.

The lock on the door was hard and the outside light was dim but these are little details.
