We use a wheelchair and the room was a little small and needed manoeuvring to get into. However it was a very busy weekend in Saumur and we were lucky to get this room at late notice. The view from our window was beautiful, looking over the River Loire. There was a good air conditioning unit which was very useful. Breakfast was excellent. A very good continental selection, all fresh and topped up regularly by staff who were very helpful and attentive. The hotel is situated on the main bridge into Saumur with easy access to the town.

If you need to use the lift in a wheelchair it is a very tight fit!

Very pleasant hotel room with lovely views across the river. Clean, fresh bed linen and a great shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with a great choice of options including freshly boiled eggs and fresh fruit. The room was very hot but it was our fault for forgetting to put on the Aircon. Good location for walking into town.

Position had a view of the Loire The lift. The size of the rooms. The friendliness of the staff. There is free disabled parking bays outside the front of the hotel and free parking in the road to the side of the property we didn’t use the underground private parking as there was ample parking outside.

The breakfast was very good . The location is 5 minutes from the centre. Parking is in the hotel and the cost was cheap. The staff was very gentle , at the arrival and the morning after for any need. I would suggest as a good location for staying in Saumur

Location on an island: just crossing the bridge (with a fairy tale view) to the center. Personnel extremely helpful (arranged a pickup, changed immediatly a fridge not working). Room comfortable, AC, elevator.

There is nothing to criticize, just an advice: take seriously the warning of the hotel and do not open the window at night with the lights on because there are small flies (ephemerals) that invade the room.

Would return! Excellent/friendly/ service from staff. Renovated rooms, super clean. Bar service excellent. Central to everything.

For the cost of breakfast, they could have had a few more hot dishes, apart from boiled eggs.

nice hotel nice location friendly staff have stayed here many times before .its great for central saumur you can walk everywhere and some great local restaurants .just around the hotel.stayed march 2024 for a few days its a great area for food and wine and the locals are great .

nothing to dislike

Perfect location overlooking the Loire and an easy stroll into the centre of town. On-site parking (for an extra fee) and brilliant, helpful and cheerful staff.

Breakfast was minimal, with no hotplate.

Quiet central location on the island. Rooms were small but adequate for a short stay. Beds very comfortable. Quiet lounge for a drink. Secure Garage parking. French breakfast was plentiful with good coffee.

Signs of mould in the ageing rooms. Outdated shower in the bath tub is not suitable for elderly folk with short legs. Small flies in the bathtub (Loire problem) Ventilation in bathroom. Only 1 coffee machine at breakfast.
