Position had a view of the Loire The lift. The size of the rooms. The friendliness of the staff. There is free disabled parking bays outside the front of the hotel and free parking in the road to the side of the property we didn’t use the underground private parking as there was ample parking outside.

Location on an island: just crossing the bridge (with a fairy tale view) to the center. Personnel extremely helpful (arranged a pickup, changed immediatly a fridge not working). Room comfortable, AC, elevator.

There is nothing to criticize, just an advice: take seriously the warning of the hotel and do not open the window at night with the lights on because there are small flies (ephemerals) that invade the room.

nice hotel nice location friendly staff have stayed here many times before .its great for central saumur you can walk everywhere and some great local restaurants .just around the hotel.stayed march 2024 for a few days its a great area for food and wine and the locals are great .

nothing to dislike

Quiet central location on the island. Rooms were small but adequate for a short stay. Beds very comfortable. Quiet lounge for a drink. Secure Garage parking. French breakfast was plentiful with good coffee.

Signs of mould in the ageing rooms. Outdated shower in the bath tub is not suitable for elderly folk with short legs. Small flies in the bathtub (Loire problem) Ventilation in bathroom. Only 1 coffee machine at breakfast.

Staff at the desk were very friendly and the bedding and were excellent.

We were like to find paring outside the hotel but imagine it could be a question to ask the hotel.

Great location, easy to walk to all the wonderful things Saumur has to offer, castles, food and more. Awesome stop for cyclists as they have a wonderful locked storage area in the secure parking garage.

Lots of room in the hotel generally and my room too. Friendly staff with lots of patience , for English guests too. Good air conditioning, very nicely decorated. Very good breakfast. Right in the middle of this beautiful city.

great location right on the river Loire. only few minutes walk from the center of Saumur and from the train station.

very friendly and accommodating staff. the rooms are small but this is normal in France. the room was clean.

The hotel is comfortable, efficient, welcoming, and in a great location. Best of all are the breakfasts with home-made jams! It’s very good value for this level of comfort.
