Beautiful site with comfortable, fully equipped small houses. Quiet, calm, very clean. Just before Easter the whole house was freshly painted. In the kitchen you had everything! You do not need to take anything except a teatowel and a tablecloth. Extremely clean bathroom. Very clean and quiet. Warm with the electric heaters. Fantastic value!

Yes, the mould will always be a problem, because structurally the houses are not properly built. In addition, I suspect wooden doors and windows were changed for plastic that do not allow to circulate the air properly. No rain gutters or any solution for the rain drainage on site. The walls are soaking wet. Still we did not have any bad feeling or smell in April 2025. The whole site is such a value, these things should be sorted with a specialised advisor.

The fact the the hostel is pedestrian only make it calm and enjoyable. The location is perfect to visit Saumure and the different muséums and 1h away from Anger and Terra Botanica. The people there are more than happy to help you and dedicated so you can enjoy your stay If asked, they provide a bed for babies, but bring your matress and the baby seat (too bad that they don't provide it actually, maybe this can be improve). Overall the stay was great and I strongly recommend it for its peacefulness, privacy of the rooms and the surrounding nature!

Friendly staff, you can use the indoor pool! Very clean. Trolleys to bring your luggage to the house as cars are only allowed inside the domaine for certain circumstances. The rooms are bare but clean and the kitchen is well kitted out. Toaster, Microwave, kettle, TV. I think there was a conventional coffee machine as well. Heating works, it was a rainy day, so the heating made it comfy. Bedding is sealed up, so you know it's clean and you have to make your own bed. Not sure how quiet it is during the busy season, I was there in October and it was very tranquil. Good value for money. Good for a longer stay also.

All good. It rained a lot, so there was a bit of a "puddle" outside of the entrance door.

The accommodation is on two floors, with the toilet & bathroom on the ground floor. The outside patio seating area is private. Everywhere inside is spotlessly clean. It's a 5 minute drive into town to get to the supermarket. The most important advice is to be sure you visit the caves & wine tasting on offer in the local village.

Check that the water heater is on. The fuse for ours was switched off (electrical box is to the left of the bathroom door). Easy to remedy Cleaning products (dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid & sponge) are available to purchase from reception for 5 euro. Or bring them with you (plus a tea towel I suggest)

Quiet, attractive location. Very clean accommodation. Facilities of a good standard. Just what we were looking for.

The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and small. Otherwise everything was just fine

Really close to Saumur town centre, Rural location, quiet and peaceful. All the basics needed and large fridge and freezer for longer stays. Staff were super friendly. Swimming Pool a real bonus.

No air conditioning so bring a fan

Lovely quiet location, although at the time admittedly it wasn't peak season there is a good policy for guests to make no noise after 11pm. A cuckoo was even heard on one of the mornings

I'm a little uncertain whether cleaning of the apartment was included in the original booking price, and it's difficult for me to be sure given that it was part paid by me in pounds and not euros with the exchange rate calculation required, which was my fault. It may well have been included possibly, although the documentation given to me at the resort indicated it was additional. The overall cost however was still very reasonable, it was just a concern given that it showed as extra on the local paperwork

Quiet location but an easy cycle into Saumur and very cycle friendly locally. Pool facilities good and relaxed attitude to use of the facilities.

Nothing within a short walk - you will need to cycle or drive to local shops or boulangerie. Take your own table tennis bats and balls to make use of the tables on site.

A bit of a trek from the car park, but in fairness luggage trolleys were provided.

Lovely location, great distance from town as well as being in the countryside.

Had to walk downstairs to use the toilet in the night.
