One of the nicest hostels I've visited so far. I like it when it's modern, new, spacious and minimalistic - and Eklo is all of that. The bed was so comfortable, and I didn't have a feeling I was sharing a room with anyone. Everything was clean, the soap in the bathroom was missing, but that was not a big problem. The neighborhood is so pretty, and the location of the hostel is brilliant if you want to be close to the airport, but also connected well to the city center. Last but not least - the staff. Everybody smiled and spoke English perfectly, which made my stay smooth and convenient! Other hostels can learn from Eklo, and I think the general rating is lower than it should be.

This was my second stay in an Eklo location and both have been good. This time I stayed in a dorm and the rooms are small but ideal for a base to explore the city as it has excellent transport links from the airport and into the city centre. The reception area is good for sitting and working and all of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is a supermarket directly outside, as well as many places for food and drink. I didn't eat in the hostel as there are limited vegan options but the breakfast looked worth it if you don't have dietary restrictions. There is free baggage storage for before/after checkout.

I appreciate the manager flexibility pleasing me. I didn t feel safe in the neighbourhood as the city is not safe for my person as well new hostel customers came gossiping and dealing with defamation about me the second day of my stay. Those behaviours are usual about french citizens in my birthcountry or french speaking people linked with social media harming talks and everything in between.

The cleaning staff was not polite enough in order pleasing me with very rude talks. As they didn’t respect my request not cleaning my room during my stay, I needed being rude in return to be respected. They unfortunately damaged my new suitcase. They changed the linen and the towels : the new ones were badly fragranced, very used and incomfortables ones, the duvet and the pillow were full off little balls of duvet inside each of them so very uncomfortable for the best and unusual for the worst.

The hotel with it's atmosphere is and stuff is helpful and friendly. I like also their offer of female bedrooms with nice price for solo travelers. I stayed in room like that and I liked the models of beds with lightproof curtains and it's own lights if one wants to reed. I would stay here again if I come in Toulouse alone and need some budget friendly accommodation.

Our room was extremely cold (dates: 5-9 December), but stuff was helpful to give us a portable little heater. Also no hairdryer was available at the moment i needed it (the room doesn't have it's own). And our shower cabin was clogged.

Spotlessly clean. Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Beautiful bar/Restaurant area, very relaxing. Bed was very comfortable. Quirky way to get to rooms. Great location and fantastic views over a community area. Shower was excellent. Soundproofing on the room from outside was amazing.

Breakfast was a bit miserable in fairness. Room a bit on the small side. Very, very little countertop to put anything on. No strorage space. Could do with 1 or 2 english channels on TV. Extra charge on room cleaning, towels, etc. was not impressive.....€12.50 per day for 2 mid size towels and a room clean per day and €10 per person for breakfast adds up.

I strongly recommend this location for your next trip in Toulouse. Located in a new part of town (Cartoucherie), the hotel is almost brand new and sits at the heart of this new and active neighbourhood, with the main public square (next to Les Halles -- lots of F&B options), a supermarket, and a public market with local vendors (at least on Sunday). Building/hotel is well designed, my room was cosy and small (no waste of space).

Only downside was the tram stop right next to the hotel. Each time a tram would stop at the station, there was the big/loud "ding" bell going off that kept waking me up in the morning. If you go to this hotel, maybe ask for a room not facing the street.

Pretty much everything about the place was great. Clean facilities, great communal area that offers lots of things to do and places to relax, and the bed was comfy. Wifi was also really good and cleaning staff was friendly and respectful.

There were slight issues with the door to the room where it was difficult to open and would take multiple swipes with the key but it was a minor issue. I also did have some issues with the staff. The day receptionist was lovely and very accommodating, but the night receptionist was just plain rude. She was an older woman who seemed to get frustrated over the smallest things and was not very welcoming or pleasant. She made it seem like a chore to help even though it's her job

This was a really good hotel with lovely staff and situated in a fantastic area. Whilst it is located fairly far from the centre the Cartoucherie with its nearby Halle is a great destination in and of itself. There was also a tram directly opposite which can take you towards the centre by a travelling to palais de justice or if you want to go right into the centre you take the tram then metro. I had been staying in shared dorms the past week and was very grateful for the single rooms which were very reasonably priced. The rooms are accessed from the outside of a property via a balcony (motel style) so it was nice to easily be able to pop outside to get some air. Throughout I found the staff really welcoming.

My room wasn’t airconditioned so it might be uncomfortable if the weather is very warm.

The location is excellent located beside Les Cartoucherie tram stop and associated facilities. Convenient for Airport, Zenith Metropole, City Centre and Gare. The modern quirkiness and character of the public area was upbeat 👍

The room was small, a bit claustrophobic and with no temperature control other than by opening the window which made it a bit noisy since it faced the main street and tram stop. Breakfast on the first morning was complete chaos although good value.

Location is superb, tram station is just right in front of the hotel Breakfast cannot ask for more Facilities, a couple of table games at the lobby and feeling relax there Parking is convenient just on basement of the hotel, 9.5 EUR/day Next to the hotel is a cool food halls with lots of restaurants from all countries and lots of beverages that you would love, the place is opened till midnight. And of course Carrefour supermarket opens till 10pm, just right next to the hotel super convenient.
