Very well located hotel, close to the Palace and the centre of Versailles. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Plenty of space in the room. Coffee machine, kettle and fridge all good. We paid before we got there so declined to authorise our card for incidentals (as we knew we wouldn't be having any) and that avoided the money out/money back in (plus exchange fees etc) which others have mentioned in their reviews. Staff were helpful but not the warmest in their manner but it's a big, busy hotel so probably to be expected. Love the large foyer which is great for meeting people. Excellent little patisserie next door (which may be part of the hotel, not sure) so we'd get something there for breakfast rather than the hotel breakfast, which we tried once on a previous stay and felt was rather overpriced for what it was!

Nothing other than the attempt to collect a couple of hundred euros to pay for incidentals on a just in case basis. We stay in lots of hotels and I can't remember the last time this happened, other than the last time we stayed here.

The location of this hotel is unmatched! A 5 min walk from the palace entrance. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were high quality, room was pristinely clean. Ac only goes down to 22 but that was perfect for us. Bathroom products were luxe (Clarins) and the bathroom itself was spacious. The lobby is beautiful and feels like a good mix of modern and regal.

Room was smaller than expected with a few signs of wear (a couple scratches on the walls, fraying fabric on the chairs and a dent in the desk) but it didn’t bother us much because we loved the other aspects of our room. The gym needs some updating- the weight machine was broken and they could use a fan in there as it was stifling hot due to it being in the same area as the sauna/ steam room.

The location is perfect, right next to the palace. The parking underneath very convenient too. The decoration of the common areas was great and the team at the reception very welcoming and professional. The room was very clean and I loved the nespresso coffee machine and the water in the fridge free of charge. Both the bed and the pillows were very comfotable.

The room had a few flaws when we arrived, one of the lamps was hanging out of the socket, one of the curtains was a bit shredded and one of the welcoming pair of bath slippers was not there. The shower was a bit narrow and noisy and the glass curtain was very small, so when showering it was hard to keep all the water inside the tub.

Bed was large and comfortable; generally, staff were helpful; an attractive, large foyer; hotel very well located in the centre of Versailles - close to the Palace plus shops and market one way and restaurants the other.

Breakfast ok but expensive for what it was, given the fact there are lots of patisseries around as an alternative. Man at desk when we arrived at 3am (flight delayed) very annoying when insisting we were paying a higher rate than agreed through Booking.com and only shifted when he finally agreed to look at the actual booking! Not what you want in the early hours of the morning after a delayed flight! Nonetheless, I would stay again as he was a blip in an otherwise enjoyable stay, and all other staff were much more amenable.

The Mgallery Le Louis Versailles Chateau hotel,location is excellent it is situated literally 5 minuites walk away near the palace of Versailles. You can see the palace when you walk out of the hotel square to your left. My partner and I were very happy with the facilities here. Room service was excellent staff always happy to assist. We stayed especially to see the palace of Versailles the hotel was brilliant especially for site seeing and buisness. My partner and I are planning another visit!!! Holly-Louise and Martin

Super hotel very close to the entrance of the Chateau at Versailles. Easy access by train from central Paris. Breakfast was amazing for choice but a bit pricey (more expensive than the entrance fee to the Chateau!) However it kept us going until the evening. There were a number of restaurants in the area so we didn't eat evening meals in the hotel. The staff were friendly, approachable very helpful and multi-lingual. We had a deluxe room with a huge bed (King size) very comfortable, a mini bar that was restocked with water and fruit juice daily. A capsule coffee machine and kettle.

I especially want to give a big shoutout to Mahamadou ! He works reception and greeted us as though we were longstanding acquaintances or friends. Personable , professional, helpful, welcoming… just an all round pleasant individual who made it an experience, not just a stay. He should be either training staff or part of their training should be shadowing him. Mahamadou is an asset to the corporation.

It’s a great hotel, a short walk to the palace, an even shorter walk to the train station and Tourist Information. A really nice shower but it leaked. Having brought it to Mahamadou’s attention, I’m sure it will be fixed. I’d recommend not ordering the ‘ aged steak ‘ in the restaurant. My knife and fork were no match for it.

Great proximity to the Chateau. Friendly staff and a quiet hotel with many food options nearby. I don't know of a more convenient place to stay than the Chateau itself.

This is an expensive hotel and you get everything that comes with it. Very nice, clean, spacious room, separate toilet, helpful staff. Breakfast if simply fantastic. We had a dinner in the restaurant and food/drinks were very delicious. For this price is 10 out of 10. The hotel is 5 minutes from the palace.

Restaurant downstairs is fancy. Very fancy. You cannot get a seat without a reservation in the evening, so we had to wait ~30 minutes in the lobby ;) We could have went to the room, but the lobby has very comfy seats, so we just stayed downstairs.

Great location being literally a 5-minute walk to the Versailles Chateau. We took a bike tour of the Versailles grounds and visiting the summer palace and the Queen's residence and English Gardens in the morning and early afternoon and spent another 2 to 3 hours seeing the Chateau and the gardens afterwards. So it is a treat to be able to walk the 5 minutes to our hotel and rest in the comforts of our room after a long day, clean up before going out for dinner. A special mention for Jack, who checked us in and gave us valuable information about the town of Versailles and being helpful throughout our 2-day stay at the hotel.
