Clean (and this is the key thing my daughter is mind about), very close to bus station (15 and 607 which are the main buses to Nice center and Monaco) and to old town (stroll 5 min and you are at the harbor- where most eateries are located). Water pressure and hot water at shower is good. Staff is very friendly and the hotel has a Maine Coon. There are 3 or 4 e-charging stations a stone throw away from the hotel. For those with e-car, this is a plus.

Not exactly something we didn't like, we slept with windows slightly open in the night and therefore subject to noises from the street which is ok I would say (as we were on vacation mode).

I loved the location - right in the old town centre, on top of a hill overlooking the see. I loved my room with a sea view and charming little balcony, it is freshly renovated and modern, perfect size for me. A really nice quiet garden outside and a beautiful Maine coone cat called “Oups”. :) Virginie who runs the receptionist the nicest, most friendly, welcoming and helpful person ever. Thank you Virginie!

Nothing I didn’t like

I had a beautiful sea view from my window, the lady at reception was very kind and professional, the hotel was easy to find.

The front door was extremely difficult to open, I came back late from dinner in town and had to use my badge and try several times before finally having to push the door open using my hip, it was really difficult and I am lucky I am in full capacity, the friend I visited in Villefranche needs crutches at the moment, she could never have opened the door.

This hotel is very nice, to enter in the room I had, you had to go in a beautiful garden with chairs, tables and also very useful drying racks. In the room there is a coffee machine with some coffee pods to use, appreciated. The room was clean. The lady at the reception very kind for any request. Recommended!

What a lovely, small, family-run hotel. It's really more similar to a bed and breakfast. Virginie was incredibly kind and waited for us so that we could check in late. Our original room was right beside the kitchen, which we decided would be a little bit loud, so we requested to be moved to the room with the sea view, which is very beautiful. The room is simple, but clean and cozy, we had everything we needed and slept very comfortably. The breakfast is a simple continental breakfast but the pastries were fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed every bite.

The neighbours and/or kitchen are definitely audible at times (for example, in the morning when everyone gets up) but that's an inevitable part of being in a small hotel with rooms that are close together! We did not mind and slept very well regardless.

Virginie is a very welcoming host who I felt went out of her way to look after me and make me feel at home. My room and bathroom were a generous size and I liked that it opened out onto the courtyard garden where I had a little to sit outside with a cup of tea. Had a kettle, too. Great location.

I’d have liked a little fridge for keeping water or milk in.

The garden was lovely and I was able to leave my luggage under the hotel in a utility room while I went to breakfast and waited to check into my next destination. I was asked to check out by 10:30am which I did. But while waiting in the heat of the day in the garden, I noticed that another room did not have to vacate until 12-13pm. I wished I'd been able to stay in the A/C rather than melting in the outside heat.

Corner room with streets on either side and near main entrance to the hotel. However, I was soooo tired that I slept anyway.

Good if you’re looking for a simple , clean , and well located hotel in Villefranche - good value

It suited me but will not be suitable looking for 24 hour reception There are relatively early check out and late check in times but probably negotiable

Clean Room, good bed, nice sea and city view. WC was a bit a surprise, room design 😉 small but clean and functional.

Breakfast was ok, but due to small hotel, limited. Due to small breakfast area, a bit limited. But the service makes the best. Vaccum cleaner should not be visible in breakfast area, but c'est la vie.

Our room was fairly basic but it had all we needed. We loved the location and area. For the price it is great.
