we stayed for 5 days at Villa Leonie - we had a lovely stay in a one bedroom apartment - there is a separate room for a little kitchenette. the room is fabulous and the balconies with the windows are gorgeous in the morning and evening to watch the sunset. the bed was comfortable and extra blankets were provided. the property is located on the east side of Nice and about 5 min walk from the port and 20 min walk from the city centre and beach. we loved walking each day as the weather was beautiful. there is a bus stop right outside the property to bring you to Villefranche-sur-mer, Eze, Monaco and Menton. we did this several times and it was so convenient to be on that side of the city for going back to Italy as well. they have private parking on their private street for €15 a day and they have a lovely garden with lots of chairs to sit out and enjoy some food you take back from the city or just relax in the sunshine

there were no toiletries like mini shampoo, body wash etc provided which travellers can forget to bring so that was a bit disappointing.

Hostess was very charming and willing to help. Private area of garden. Airconditioning essential. Near port and in easy walking distance to central Nice.

A bit noisy with traffic on main road.

Great host - Clemence is a fantastic host who helps from the very beginning, even before check-in she gives directions on how to get to the apartment. After check-out also full support and the possibility of leaving luggage until we went to the airport. Great location - on the sidelines, outside the strict center, but at the same time a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town. Very close to the communication center, from which trams run to the airport and all important points of the city. In addition, there is a bus stop right next to the house, from which you can get to Cap Ferrat, Monaco and Menton. Great cleanliness - everything in the apartment was adequately clean, which is often not obvious in premises of this style.

The apartment is located on a busy street with a lot of trucks and scooters driving around, which is quite annoying and does not allow you to leave the windows open because the noise is too loud, but with the windows closed it is quiet.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed speaking with them in French, and they were very helpful. The bed is comfortable and the room clean. I got a room with a washer as I was traveling for an extended time. I recommend a room on the garden side. It is beautiful, quiet and the flowers smelled absolutely lovely. I liked the family touch and more authentic feel of staying in France, rather than a posh hotel, which isn't necessarily better. Location was fantastic for me, as I was going to Cafe du Cycliste for coffee and hanging out with other cyclists. The Villa is near grocery shopping, bakeries, and restaurants - maybe 5-7 mins by foot. Shower had great water pressure! There is an elevator, if you need it. Washer in some rooms, line dry outside in the garden, which is beautiful and relaxing. Practice your French with the dad while he is around :) And I returned for a second and longer stay during my two months in Europe.

The pillows were a tad hard.

We had the best stay in Nice! Clémence and her father were fabulous hosts and the room was amazing! We had plenty of space to spread out and the property was so unique and in a great area near coffee shops, groceries and a bus stop. We enjoyed the longer walk into the city as we were able to explore more and see the port on the way to the beach and Main Streets. Anytime we needed anything we were promptly met and Clémence even fulfilled our request of two twin beds instead of one full bed as we stayed for a gals trip and preferred our own beds. So so happy with our experience, thank you so much!

The property was beautiful and well located. The bus is literally infront of the residence. Clementine, the manager of the residence was super helpful and thoughtful! The perfect South of France stay for maximum experience!

We had issues with the internet and had to use our data constantly, but that was only during the night before sleep. Would not recommend working here of you have important calls.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Clèmence, her family, and the residence. Travelled with girl friends and 2 big dogs and felt safe and welcome through the stay. Location was perfect, walking distance from beaches and old town Nice. Clèmence has a wonderful garden that we were welcome to spend time in and have the dogs play in. They went above and beyond to make us feel right at home!

Street parking was available on site for an extra fee but sometimes was difficult to find space (I have an SUV), however, was manageable 😊

Loved the location and the building itself was beautiful

The only thing was the 2 bedroom only had 1 bathroom in the master bedroom so you had to go into the other bedroom if u needed the bathroom in middle of the night .. and no AC in the 2nd bedroom so it was very hot .. but overall it was a lovely place to stay

A beautiful house in an ideal location to explore Nice and the coast. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which had everything we needed for a week and was very spacious and clean. Only 5 minutes walk to the Port where you could catch a tram or walk into the centre of Nice if you prefer. Plenty of cafes, pubs and shops on your doorstep and the bus stop is right outside the house to take you to places like Monaco if you want to explore further.

Nothing major, but having just a hand held shower attachment only was a bit of a palaver sometimes.

The Villa Leonie is beautifully situated close to the Port Lympia with it's numerous restaurants and the centre of Nice with all the attractions for tourists, close at hand. The tram stop is just a short walk away, which provides direct access to the airport and Nice Ville, SNCF. Yet the Villa Leonie provides a tranquil and peaceful haven within it's private community. This holiday rental is a gem. The professional service provided by the proprietor is second to none.

Absolutely nothing, whatsoever. I have recommended it to all my friends.
