The location is central, a few steps from the tramway, all the staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, everything was beyond our expectations.

Greetings to Emma on staff from Sebastian & Selma: From the minute we checked-in, it was a phenomenal experience. All of the staff was very welcoming and made our whole stay a very smooth experience. Even upon arrival they were able to hold our bags until our room was ready which allowed us to start our trip in Nice. It is in a very good location with a tram station nearby as well as an exceptional cafe just a few minute walk down the street. Special shoutout to Emma on staff as she went above the expectations and gave us great tips on how to get to Eze and Monaco in the most efficient way possible. Also important to note that they speak multiple languages from English, German, French, and Spanish. If you're coming to Nice, I couldn't recommend a better place than this one!

Nothing, everything was exceptional!

We booked the room at the last minute as our previous apartment was below standards. This hotel, however, was amazing for a last-minute find. We arrived early before check in, the young gentlemen at the front desk was extremely helpful and took our bags for the day before our check in time. He also gave us a great recommendation for brunch, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We asrived back later and the other staff were also extremely friendly and helpfull! The room was exactly as advertised, a little nicer then expected and bathroom was clean and equipped, we felt right at ease and left early for our flight in the morning. Overall a really easy and fulfilled experience, wish we had booked for the full 3 day trip!

The property is ideally located, just a short walk from the tram, but easy on foot to all the main areas. The bathroom in our room recently updated, bed comfy and large outside terrace. The reception and breakfast areas all newly refurbished and welcoming. Our room was perhaps a littke dated, but very clean with new wooden flooring. The bed was comfy and bedding/towel’s regularly (perhaps to often) We had breakfast on a number of occasions which was reasonably priced with a good choice. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay

It’s not something I didn’t like, but more of an observation. A kettle/cups supplied in the room, nice touch - but the hotel doesn’t supply tea/coffee, it was never replenished during our stay, although TBF we never asked.

The hotel is pretty good for a 3 star. The breakfast is really good: fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, good coffee machine! Fruit juices, yoghurts, cheese and meat. The staff are TERRIFIC. They can't do enough for you, they are very friendly and and extremely helpful. The staff really make the stay. This was our 2nd stay and they were able to upgrade us. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the old town. You can get a tram (line 2) and from the airport and get off at Garibaldi stop. A return ticket is 10euros pp. Beds very comfortable and the bathroom an excellent size. For the money - would recommend.

the hotel is a little far out so be prepared for a walk but - good hotel and amazing staff.

In 6 weeks of travel throughout Europe, Hotel Esprit was our absolute favourite. We wished that we could wrap it up and take it to every location! The staff made our stay perfect with their fantastic hospitality and helpfulness in assisting us to get the most out of our 4 days with transport, places to visit and scheduling recommendations. We loved everything about this hotel from the fabulous location (can’t beat the distance to the Old Town and station), trams almost at the door, great signage making it super easy to find, quality linen, shower products, good breakfast and most of all, the staff. Thank you so much! We will sing your praises to all who may be visiting the region as this is a great base to see many, many places as convenient day trips. Contact us if you make it Down Under! :)

We loved everything! After reading reviews, we were concerned about the room/bathroom sizes, but they were fine for two.

There were just a couple of things I didn’t love: The corridor lights kept turning on automatically – a bit annoying, especially at night The room wasn’t very spacious – fine for a short stay, but could feel a bit tight if staying longer Nothing major, just small details – overall, I still had a really good experience! 😊

We booked a room for 3 people and with balcony. The room was great with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a balcony where we could sit outside. The view was just other houses, but it was still nice to have an outside space. The room also had a kettle and a small fridge/mini bar. The breakfast was good with both sweet and salty options. The staff were super helpful and were available 24/7. The room felt clean and the beds were very clean and comfy. The room was well insulated so we were not bothered by any sounds from other guests. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very clean room, kettle in the room, excellent location. Ideal choice for 1-2 nights for one person. Excellent manager David at the reception, speaks several languages, very friendly and helpful. Grocery shop around the corner, all you can need. 10 min by foot to the main tram line to the airport, 7 min by foot to the bus 600 stop to Monaco/Menton. The room has a terrace with the table and chairs, a great place to sit outside in the warm weather.

Not about "I don't like", just to keep in mind. For two people with luggage a room may be too small, also a shower only for the average person, the shower corner is tiny.

Great value for money and in a fun area, you can easily go to the port, old town, the castle, nice streets with restaurants and shops, galleries by foot. The room was better than expected, the interior is a little bit older but it works for the hotel and everything is kept really clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower is nice and you have a water boiler for coffee and tea. No frills but it's a decent room. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The only thing I liked less, and this is picky of me, if the use of airfreshner. The cleaners use a lot of it and I personally don't like synthetic scents since they tend to give me a headache but it's never too cold to open an window and get rid of it so it's really just a detail.
