Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was adequate with facilities of tea and coffee, a fridge cooler, fresh cool water in every floor, and was cleaned everyday. We opted for a shower only room, which was provided to us. Breakfast had a reasonable variety. We enjoyed having dinner there as the quality was great. Location was great with only 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi 36 Euros, price may go up after 7pm), 5 minutes to the Tram station, 20 minutes from the Promenade, 15 minutes from the Train station (Nice Riquier).

I wish the roof top swimming pool area had a bar. It looks uninviting.

The staff were excellent including in the restaurant. Dietary needs (coeliac) were accommodated- the staff were really helpful. Pool was lovely- good size and well kept. Water machine (sparkling and still) on each floor were really great. Attempts to make the hotel more sustainable was really good. The cold drink dispenser in the Reception area was a welcome addition (the flavoured tea). Good sized mini fridge in the room- really useful.

It would have been good to have more information in the room. Info was given on arrival at the front desk, but it was too much to remember! Some written info such as how to hire pool towels, and costs, costs of breakfast (we didn't pre-book) etc would have been really good. The QR code didn't seem to work so some written info would be good.

The STAFF! From the lady who ensured our room was always welcoming, to the bar, restaurant and reception staff. Always professional, polite and helpful they made a difference to our stay. Reception staff were able to help with enquiries how to get to different locations and found out answers to questions if they didn’t know. Super breakfasts and restaurant menu!

It was a little further out than I had anticipated but the transport links were excellent. Once we knew where we were going, this wasn’t a problem. The pool area was so busy, after 2 attempts we gave up. Only for families?

The bar and restaurant staff were jolly welcoming and very kind. The rooftop swimming pool is fab. The shower and shower gel good. It’s close to the old town. Dog friendly.

On entering and checking in, greeted by the gentleman at front of desk, he wasn’t very approachable and seemed in a bad mood, but gave us the relevant information. The single bed in family room was tiny and not comfortable. The separate toilet was very smelly of old urine and needs an update and flooring replaced to get out the stench.

Everything and everyone . Perfect hotel for your holiday. Tram stop just round the corner, train station to Monaco and Cannes only 15 mins walk, shops nearby. Breakfast was really good with loads of choice , dinner absolutely delicious. Thank you to all staff in the restaurant who made our stay so enjoyable. Water fountain on every floor. Everything is clean to a high standard. Pool on the roof with amazing view. Thank you to the lovely reception girl who made us so welcome on our first day. We will be visiting you again Novotel 👍👍👍.

Foyer, restaurant and rooftop pool were modern and stylish. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were allowed to use the pool after check out for an hour, whilst we waited for our flight. Children were given welcome packs too.

Rooms were dated and not exactly as advertised. Description didn’t match the room - staff said what was advertised didn’t exist in the hotel (double bed plus 2 single beds). TV signal was patchy. Breakfast range wasn’t as wide as we were used to.

Good breakfast, good location

The booking-in process was a bit of a nightmare. I had been searching all along for 2 double bedrooms for 4 people in total but apparently that's not what was registered when the booking was made (?) although very confusingly messages sent back and forth to and from the hotel talked about 4 people in 2 rooms all the time. Anyway, when we got there we had to pay extra because we had "only" paid for 2 singles, although the rooms booked were double bedrooms, each with an extra sofa bed... Plus they put us in what we thought were small rooms that had seen better times, tucked away at the end of their hallways.. Not so happy therefore..

The breakfast options were excellent. The location was superb. Francesco was helpful about the tour guide. The children’s corner was well-done.

Having toilet and bathroom separately was extremely inconvenient. Especially when we have a toddler. The hotel reception got us a cab transfer to railway station, who charged us 75euros for 7 minute ride. This was 2.5 times the Uber rate shown. It was evidently fleecing. Also the front desk could be more accommodating. And the toilets and baths do not have locks.

The staff were really good and helpful with local tips. Conviently close to the tram line for access to the coast, restaurants and shops.

We didn’t think the breaky was of much value not too many options and quality lacked. Probably better off missing it and getting a bite to eat from elsewhere.

Great breakfast Good size family rooms - able to get room on same floor snd opposite each other Good location for tram link to town and main station. Easy walking distance to Old Town. Great sparkling and still water dispenser on every floor.

Light bulb on 5th floor flicking and not changed during stay. Bar at roof top pool rarely open. Pool could have done with a clean around the edge. Unable to add Accor membership as booking not made through Accor website
