The location was close enough to the old town but not in the centre of the busy touristy part. The hotel staff are very friendly and so accommodating, they really aimed to make our stay as pleasant as possible, despite hiccups out of anyone’s control. The front desk is always available and have the utmost care for their guests. The room sizes are ideal we stayed in the mezzanine suite, though the first room we had was much much smaller than the second room, the second rooms size was ideal and a score bonus comparatively for normal european sized hotel rooms.

The facilities it would be nice if there was a lounge / outdoor that you could relax in outside or your room, though Catherine’s breakfast bar is the attached to the hotel it’s still a restaurant. The lift is also on the slower side but everything is functional

My family and I were the second family to check in post their opening. Everything was great in the room and facility, very clean, well maintained facility. I can not think of anything negative state about the room itself. 1- I had reserved the room with balcony, which I highly recommend and pay the extra $50 vs rooms without the balcony. Rooms with balcony have a nicer lay out (in my opinion) and the bathroom has a window and you will have a small ocean view. 2- You can enjoy your coffee on the balcony and see the city slowly coming to life in the morning. 3- Beds very comfortable, including the pull out couch bed, and you are given all of the amenities you need to make your stay pleasant. 4- Great location close to everything you need from shops, restaurants, cafes, train station, metro station and etc. The Hotel is about 15-20 min walk to the beach and Nice old town, however the walk is lovely as you walk along the harbor, restaurants and ocean shore and you will experience great views of the city during you walk. 5- Great staff willing to help and provide advice of activities needed. FOr example, I needed to extend my stay by a day and although I was unable to stay in my current room (booked for new guest), the front desk and manager were able to give me similar room W/O balcony though with the same low price. 6- Washer/dryer combo, dishwasher and small kitchenette elevates your stay even more. 7- USP-c and lightning connections on the outlets so you don't need adapter to charge your electronic devices. I give the hotel 9.75/10

Breakfast is not included. On busy street so it does get little busy during the day, however once the windows are closed the noise will be undetectable.

Everything. Faultless. Garibaldi station is 2 min walk, the tramline straight from airport in about 25 Mins. The first stop is free from airport, get off at Grand Arenas to get a rechargeable tramline ticket which is 1.70 per journey. Then get back on at Grand Arenas to go straight to Garibaldi. Catherine Bar was nice for breakfast.

A toaster would be handy in the kitchenette.

location was good, easy to get places, didn't use the cinema room or spa, since we got too lake and all was booked, but great options to enjoy the place. especially since it rained when we were there, I didn't see elsewhere. the room was clean, new, great decorated, and fitted our needs in terms of room layout. very specious.

Our room was above the back of the hotel were the bins were and where perhaps staff entered and existed the hotel so it was slightly noisey at night

Located on a beautiful street with restaurants and art galleries within yards of the hotel, the Palais Segurane offers a great base to explore old town nice. There are 2 tram stations with a couple of minutes walk and the Place Garabaldi is 3 mins away with lots of restaurants. Try the Rue Bonaparte for a mix of restaurants and a lively atmosphere. There shopping area is a bit of a walk about 15 mins away, the beach about 10 so do be prepared for a bit of walking in the heat. The deluxe suite mezzanine which we stayed in was spacious and all the basics were covered, a decent size for a family of four , we never felt on top of each other. All in all ,a great hotel in a great location

The staff were so excellent. They welcomed us straight away. We arrived at 10 am and check-in is at 3 pm, they were kind enough to take our bags and hold them (in a locked room, which we were pleased with) until our room was ready. It was 3 pm by the time we could check-in but it's a boutique hotel so that's expected. The cleaning service was top tier. No matter the time that we ended up leaving the room our housekeeper got in there to freshen everything up. The location was outstanding. You can access Colline du Chateau from the park entry across from the hotel and walking through Vieux Nice to get anywhere was awesome. There's a CarreFour (grocery) right around the corner, a pharmacy, and easy access to public transport. The area feels safe with buzz around the nearby cafes early in the AM to late at night. But it's not too noisy. The room was well appointed and comfortable with ample storage, at least for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids). The people were so friendly and made the stay outstanding.

The spa is limiting. I do wish the amenities felt more accessible at the cost of what it is to stay there. The 40€ price tag for the movie theater, unfortunately, put us off as well. Although, it is a cool feature and a reason we selected the hotel, we didn't end up using it. The street noise from traffic can seep through the beautiful balcony doors/windows, but I found it charming. My husband who is a picky and light sleeper could tolerate it. We had restful sleep every night.

Front desk staff was amazing - always a smile, always helpful. Hotel is beautiful and having the kitchen w fridge microwave and all dishes was hugely helpful.

The bed was not comfortable - seemed old, with slightly sagging mattress that offered no back support. Most days cleaning was fine but first few days the floors weren’t swept. Also they did not automatically refill coffee supplies and water - you had to ask each time. Perhaps it’s a European thing and Americans are too used to getting everything handed to us, but just for potential guests to be aware. It is not something that makes or breaks the stay.

The property was exceptionally beautiful, comfortable, with an outstanding room that was easy to reach. The restaurant was brilliant also. The staff are friendly, cheerful and happy to help with absolutely anything. We personally thought that our room was soundproofed to an excellent level and had brilliant, long sleeps in highly comfortable beds. The kitchen was brilliant with a wonderful facility for cooking and the fridge was superlative. Brilliant rain shower too.

Great hotel with very comfort set up for family with babies. The location is great, it is not in the typical touristic center full of people but still easy to walk to the beach and old town. The service team is exceptional friendly and we felt very welcomed and well taken care of.

The restaurant service can be optimized a bit. Understand it is often with lots of customers but the service is a bit slow and food comes very late. I always ask fry eggs well done so that the baby can eat, but 2 out of 3 times it was not what I asked. However, despite of the service , I have to say the breakfast tasted good - me and my baby had wonderful mornings.
