I booked 3 days in April for hiking and it was great. There are 5+ trails available: - Azeula fortress (8km round trip), - Ghoubani (11.2 km round trip), - Udzo - Turtle Lake - Tbilisi (12 km one way), - Azureti (~10 km one way), - Kiketi (11 km one way). Routes are very clearly indicated. I was choosing between this hotel and Bioli, and for trekking this is a way better starting point. Surprisingly good mattress and pillows. Very quiet but as I was the only (?) guest and it's a low season that's more or less expected. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast and you can choose the time for it. Good AC, the temp I set is exactly the temp I got. Bathrobe, slippers and all toiletries were available.

Very flimsy power outlets, my charger was falling out all the time. Loud fridge (or rather it's loud during a cooling cycle start) - I had to turn it off for the night as it was waking me up. Some light in the corridor was shining into my room. During April there are no restaurants/cafes either in hotel or Kojori at al. But there are two supermarkets to buy food. Breakfast was the almost the same every day and served on a cold plate in a cold room.

Spent a weekend with my wife in this cosy hotel. Just half an hour by taxi from Tbilisi - and you’ll find yourself in a quiet village with clean air and rustic atmosphere. The hotel has quite comfortable rooms, nice well-maintained territory. There is an outdoor pool, but we were here in the middle of September, it was already quite chilly to swim. We booked here two nice dinners (there are Georgian and Italian dishes). Next to the hotel there are a supermarket, a pharmacy and a small park. Also there is Udzo monastery (half an hour walk from the hotel), from there you have a beautiful view of the mountains and Tbilisi.

It was quite chilly in our room, so we had to use the air conditioning as a heater:) As there were few guests at the hotel, that’s why there was not a buffet unfortunately. But we were offered a personalised breakfast (quiet tasty though).

Excellent location, owners, and interior design. Totally empty and silent out of season (end of September).

Strange mix of the condition of things. Beautiful new bathroom but chairs missing screws. Chairs but not table on the balcony. Coffee and tea but not cups. Excellent bed but scratched wall paint. Not very consistent in quality but nothing major and the owners were more than happy to provide things by request. A bit overpriced, but not expensive. The pool and bar/restaurant were closed out of season (the end of September even).

Breakfast was included, eggs, bread, salad. Nothing flash but sufficient to refuel at the start of the day. Evening meal cost extra according to what you choose off the menu. Location was great, less than an hour from Tbilisi, in the hills and short hiking trails in the area. The swimming pool was open and much appreciated. A great place to cool off after a hike or just a place to catch some rays (not heated yet once you're in it's fine).

Nothing! Just note that not all rooms have balconies, check that the room you select states - with balcony, if you want one (they'll only small but nice to sit on).

We booked a "cottage" (see comment below) but were able to change to a proper hotel room after it didn't meet our standards. The hotel rooms are beautiful and well worth staying in.

The "cottages" are not real cottages - at least not what you would expect from the actual term. They are bungalow type buildings which have a fireplace but are in general quite run down and not worth it. The kitchen didn't offer too much food (especially for vegetarians) and was, by comparison, very overpriced.

Staying at The Residence Hotel was an extraordinary experience. The natural beauty and fresh air were truly refreshing. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the food and cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend this place! ✨✨

Everything was perfect⭐️

It’s a super nice place near Tbilisi to spend a lovely weekend especially in summer. I loved the location and staff. Rooms were clean and the restaurant was offering a wide range of tasty dishes. What I enjoyed the most was an amazing swimming pool. Definitely will visit this place again!

Great place in the forest with the swimming pool and beautiful spacious territory. Very polite, kind and attentive stuff. Super plus that it’s close to Tbilisi. Strongly recommended.

My stay at the residence was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were swept off our feet by the outstanding service and attention to detail. The restaurant staff not only served mouthwatering dishes but also created an atmosphere that felt like dining in paradise.
