The room (no. 503) was spacious and very clean. And we could open the windows for fresh air! The small breakfast buffet (18euros pp) was more expensive than other hotels & cafes nearby, but it was fresh, well-presented and tasty. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. And the location was fine - Old Town Aachen is quite a compact area.

We were located next to a fire door in the corridor, so very time a guest came through that door, our bedroom door would rattle noisily, which was very offputting late at night. So we ended up plugging it with folded paper to stop the rattling & jiggling. Other than that, it was very comfortable.

I could check in a bit before 15.00 when i arrived. Very much appreciated. Coffe in the room. Safety-box, AC you could control by yourself, etc. Quiet room. The view from the room was an old church wich was nice.

Feathers in the pillow and the blanket. WelI i could sleep good without it anyway so i did not ask for nonfeather bedware. Perhaps it could have been arranged by the hotel if i had asked.

Very clean and welcoming. Our room was ready earlier than expected which was a huge bonus. The room was clean and modern. The water pressure in the shower was incredible ! The women at reception were very helpful calling for reservations for us at local restaurants and providing advice.

No parking on site. You need to park across the street under the bus station for 18.00 Euros for 24 hours. Area is a little rundown, but it is very close to the shopping and old town. Not much to complain about really....

Very clean, comfortable hotel with well-renovated rooms. It was pleasant to spend time there! The lobby and reception area are amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and with different options. Parking garage is 150m from the hotel, closed and safe. Overall, good value for money!

1) The bed was a little bit too soft. 2) Our windows faced the main road, so it was quite noisy during the night, even with closed windows. 3) The location is close to the city center (max 10min by foot), but since the hotel is next to the big bus station, we didn't feel 100% safe when returning back in the evening.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. They helped us with the parking. We had reserved a spot in their locked up garage just round the corner. Well worth the money as you are right in the centre. The room had everything you could want and was spotless. Breakfast lived up to the pictures. Thank goodness a nice pot of coffee, served by a nice young man, and not one of those awful machines. We could even squeeze our own orange juice! Yes, a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is close to the centre of Aachen. The room was well-designed, not huge, but the use of space meant that there was good storage, a fridge and a desk. The bathroom made optimum use of the small space. The staff were very helpful and friendly, really much beyond what we would have expected. The breakfast was very good. The decor is modern and well-done, with plenty of wood. It was very clean.

Rooms on to the street, as ours were, are not entirely silent with the traffic noise. The beds were OK, but not the most comfortable we've ever had. The ratings wouldn't allow anything in between, so we've given it a 9, but more accurate would be around 8.5. But overall it was a good place to stay for downtown Aachen, and I would return.

Rooms are surprisingly quiet for being on a busy street. Ours was across from a bus station but you would never know it unless you looked since little to no noise was noticeable. Location is an easy walk to the Dom and, for our stay in late November, very convenient to the Christmas markets.

Nothing to complain about except for relatively few nice restaurants within walking distance. Advance research helped with that.

However, the room was a bit small, and the breakfast price was quite high, especially considering the many affordable breakfast spots nearby. Additionally, there is no parking available, and we had to park in the center, which turned out to be problematic due to the carnival blocking the exit.

The staff takes well care of the travelers, plenty of people dropping off bags, to get to the Christmas Market. I did this and when I returned, I found I was checked in, my bag delivered already to the room. Breakfast is a nice selection of both European and Continental options. From fresh squeezed juice you do yourself, to other pastry/bread and food choices. Very nice!

The staff were very helpful - I dropped some money without realising and it was returned to me by staff. Also very helpful on all levels. Breakfast was very good. The shower was easy to operate.

The bedroom was rather small. The air conditioning thermostat didn't work very well, but it was manageable.
