The Pension Johanna was small and quaint right opposite the river. The room was a good size with a little balcony. It was clean, and had a fan (which was needed in the hot weather!). The host was lovely and the continental breakfast was a good start to the day. 😊

The location was excellent. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The room had an old world charm about it as did the breakfast room. The breakfast was generous and tasty. The view of the river and castle was excellent. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer.

It was the perfect stop for us on our motorcycle tour, we prefer the 'small' places instead of big hotels and this was exactly that! Very kind hostess/owner who received us very nicely and gave some tips for restaurants. It was a perfect stay for us while on our motorcycle tour. The motorcycles could be parked on the property (outside). We also had our own little terrace with the room which was very nice. The breakfast was fantastisch with many many choices and offered by the so very kind hostess. She also offered us some lunch bags to take some sandwiches with us on the go for our motorcycle tour which was so so nice of her to do! Great stay for this price! We would definitely come back here.

The mattress was a bit thin, but no real complaints from us because we had a goog night sleep.

The breakfast was very delicious with fresh products in very comfy authentic atmosphere.

Only thing I can honestly say is next door is a lot with camper and the dogs bark at other dogs being walked but that’s the only noise we heard - that’s all!

Needs totally modernising. Very old furnishings. The bedroom was dark, radiator in bathroom was rusty and old and one of the window catches was broken. The room was in a separate building at the rear of the property. Breakfast was okay but not as great as had the previous day in St..Goar. The owner was friendly and helpful but smoked. She was only contactable by telephone. Poor value for the price (€92)..
