The room and hotel were immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful-- friendly, helpful, and very eager to make our stay pleasant. Special kudos to Augustine-- he was most kind. The room was well equipped with a mini-fridge and hot water pot. Plenty of electrical outlets, well situated around the room. Exceptionally quiet (surprising, since we faced the main road and were near the train station, but we didn't hear a thing.) The bed was very comfortable and the housekeepers were very attentive. Coveniently next to train station and bus lines, as well as the local Aldi.

Although most rooms are within an easy walk to the elevator, our room was at the extreme end of a long and winding hallway. The staff was willing to move us, but by then we had unpacked and it just wasn't worth the shift. The hotel is right next to the train station, which is very convenient, but a 10 minute walk to the center of Bayreuth. May be an issue for some. A few, but not many, restaurants in immediate vicinity, but lots of good choices within 10-15 minute walk.

An excellent choice of a hotel during the Wagner Festival season, the shuttle to the Festspielhaus being a truly essential amenity. The hotel is conveniently located close to the RR Station and about a 10’ pleasant walk to the historic core. The hotel’s public areas and the rooms are appointed in a simple and elegant modern style. The breakfast buffet - though not included in my accommodation - was reasonably priced, and the offerings varied and extensive. Importantly, the staff were wonderful! Highly recommended

It's a really big and comfortable room. We weren't expecting that much. It has all the space needed for those traveling with more luggage. The bathroom isn't far behind either: it's really big and comfortable. The facilities are very well maintained. I classify it as a superior comfort hotel. The location is perfect for those arriving by train, as it is right next to the station. But they also have a parking space for those arriving by car. The breakfast maintains the hotel's high standard.

No negative points caught my attention in this accommodation.

Perfect location next to the train station. Super convenient to store luggage after checkout and then pick it up prior to train departure. Plenty of restaurants close by and a grocery store not far. Room was very clean and they had a small but amazing sauna in the basement.

Too much light flowed into through the bathroom window, with no shades or window coverings. The bathroom door was frosted glass so there was no way to block it out.

rubbery, overcooked "scrambled" eggs at breakfast, and the fruit tray featured some grapes that had seen better days, and the fruit bowl 1 day had mostly bruised apples, and 1 apple had a gash on the skin, as if the fruit was obtained from a discarded bin somewhere. The 11am checkout was a little earlier than most hotels, and I didn't realize this when I booked a 1pm train to leave Bayreuth, so that meant waiting in lobby for a while. Not a big problem as there was a storage room for luggage.

The host was extremely kind and helpful. The Hotel was easy to find, about a fifteen minutes walk to the Hotel.

A mini fridge in the entrance way into the room. There is plenty of room for a small mini fridge in that area, or even under the table. No hot water pot for tea or coffee. One has to walk down the hall to use the mini fridge and hot water pot. Unpleasant to do wearing pajamas.

We had a beautiful room, with 2 windows (with rolladen/ shutters!!), and a view on the meditation garden. High ceilings, lots of closet space. Just gorgeous. Einfach Herrlich! Bed was 2 twins pushed together, BUT the bottom sheet was done so that it felt like one bed. Breakfast was good, but got a little crowded.

Housekeeping took a hand towel that had been used but didn't replace it. There were some dead insects (spider prey maybe) clustered at the very top, in the corner. Given how wonderful everything else was, we just ignored it.

The hotel could not be closer to the station and yet there was no noise. It was easy to walk to restaurants and the sights. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms were very large. The breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. I didn't want to leave!!

Just a tip: I noticed people came to have breakfast and there weren't enough tables for them, they had to wait for other guests to finish eating. I suggest increasing the capacity or making a timetable for guests to choose when they want to have breakfast. I didn't have any problem :).

Excellent location of the hotel. When we arrived, the room was already ready for us which was great as we needed to head for Festspiele asap. Stuff is super nice and friendly. Comfortable clean spacious room.
