The hotel is situated in a house block where there is parking possibilities. It is public and cost money. There is no special area belonging to the hotel. The door to the hotel is nearest parking lot no. 118. There is an elevator from the parking levels and to the floors at the hotel.

It is not all hotel rooms that has their own bathroom.

City centre location and convenience.

Automatic self-checkin felt off-putting. Further - I had difficulty working out how door lock mechanism worked - simple when you know how - but perhaps an idiot proof explanation could be provided! I rang number for help but rang out & then sent txt via Booking.com - helpful woman rang me within 3 mins & sorted the problem!!😄

Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Very close to the center and to the Festspielhaus. Perfect accommodation for a reasonable price during the Festival.

Nice location in the city center, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast. The employees are very helpful. The check-in automat is a great idea, too, although we didn't have to use it.

The owner wasn't helpful at all. Two adult guests were given one key to the room - we had to ask an employee for a second one so that we could move separately.

The hotel was not far from the train station and very close to the ZOH (bus station and interchange) from where you can go everywhere. I wonder why the hotels do not provide customers with a map of the city plus a map with all the bus lines! 6-8 minute walking to and from the centre. Breakfast was included and was a buffet one! The staff was friendly and supportive, especially Eugenio! Any bus from the HBf to ZOH (301-302-303-305-etc....) is good to get to the Poseidon hotel (the bus stop is in front of the train station, direction city center: just cross the road). Get off at ZOH and walk for 4-5 minutes and Hotel Poseidon is there.

Cozy hotel near to the ring surrounding the city centre. Excellent position both to the central Railway station (15 min walking), to the historical town (5 min walking) and to the University campus (30 min walking). The room was very large and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide choice of plates. Excellent value for money. Staff available and helpful, also providing a lot of information in advance. Unfortunately I did not try the Greek restaurant inside due to lack of time.

Nothing in particular. Sometime the WiFi signal was not working in some location of the room, but it was enough to move a little bit to restore the signal. Some of the staff speak in Greek or German only, but they want really to help you so the communication problem were all solved.

Breakfast was very good indeed, and I liked the way it was presented. The staff made sure that there was always enough food for the guests, and were willing to go the extra mile if a guest was a little late for breakfast to make sure that they would be well fed!

Have to say that for me personally there was no disappointment. The hotel was fine for me, and once I understood the registration system, thought a very good way for a guest to register if they arrived late in the evening!

Hotel combined with a restaurant. Overall nice stay, I was staying in a single room. The room was ok, tidy and the breakfast (I had it in the price) were good as well. The location of the hotel is also fine, just walking distance to the city centre. All in all, I would recommend it.

The main advantage for us was the location in the centre of Bayreuth within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit, and the Festspielhaus, for the opera. On top of this we found the hotel met all our requirements of cleanliness and comfort. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast buffet is good and plentiful.

The decor of the rooms could be modernised.

Very good location, central and right across a beautiful parc. Fabulous breakfast, very comfortable bed and we also enjoyed the pool.
