Clean and quiet accommodation, cheapest in the town. It is a small "no staff" hotel, you meet staff only when checking in. Next to a beautiful lake and animal park.

No refrigerator for guests in the property. No table or desk in the room.

my room was spacious and bright. the furniture provided was fitting and comfortable.

the internet connectivity was very poor and hardly any internet in the dining hall.

Breakfast was good.The beer garden was good.

I arrived pretty late, around 10:30 as my train journey was disrupted by the large number of people using the €9 ticket. A big problem all over Germany. Checking was supposed to be by 20:00. Nobody at the hotel. I called the contact number and they were very reluctant to come and let me in even although I had emailed them telling them I would late. Eventually, will reluctance they can sand let me in. Not very professional. As for the hotel. It’s more like a beer garden with an attached hotel and it does not seem well run. There was no Wi-Fi information, the light in the toilet was out, a generally run down and poorly finished quality throughout.

A friendly family run place well away from the town centre, opposite the delightful Rohrensee on a busy road. I stayed for four nights and was never once disturbed; I guess if you want towels, soap or a change of sheets or your bed being made up this place is not for you.

Size of room and bathroom : large

The sheets on the bed were colourful, diffiuclt to say whether they were fresh and clean. Wifi didn't work in the room : I had to check my mails in the dining room but couldn't stay there as ehte waiter wanted to lock the room

Bathroom small. Breakfast fixed with no choices. Food at dinner mediocre. No staff available when I checked out.

It was pretty quite.

Thanks to the lucky coincidence, I managed to check in. The staff is never at the hotel, and it's impossible to reach them by phone or email. There is no internet connection in the room at all. They could have brought some shampoo and toilet paper to my room without a thousand requests.

Bed was good it was a proper double [i.e. 1 bed for two people] unlike most German Hotels. The shower was good but the nozzles needed cleaning to get the jets right.

It was built into the eves. The wooden floor had not been moped so it made my bare feet dirty. It was expensive but that was probably due to the Mozart Festival being on at that time.
