Most things but particularly all the staff were wonderful and could not be more helpful

Quite limited hanging and storage space in the room - and it was only me, I think a couple would have found it difficult. Would have preferred to have my own in- room ironing board and iron given that I wanted to look my best for the Festspiele and my four days of wandering about Bayreuth and having to deal with this in their ironing room was not ideal.

First, the location of Hotel Rheingold was very good. It was very convenient to the Bayreuth old town, as well as restaurants and shopping. The room was small, but nice, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good, although the selection of breakfast items could be a bit wider, particularly in terms of meats and cheeses. Restocking of the breakfast buffet also could have been quicker. However, the staff working the breakfast were wonderful, helpful and very welcoming. We would come to the Rheingold hotel again if the opportunity arose.

Almost everyone guest in the hotel is for the Bayreuth Festival. Staffs are nice and professional. Restaurant services are good. Convenient shuttle bus service to and from the Festspielhaus. Will stay here the next time I come back.

While most days during my 1.5 week stay were cloudy or rainy so the temperature was not too high, it was hot the first few days and the hotel did not turn on the air conditioner. However the staff did bring a fan which really helped.

Very central location, close to the city center, shopping mall and christmas markets. Private parking for 8 / 10 EUR. Breakfast was good (for extra charge). Free wi-fi. Room nicely big and quite, comfortable bed.

In the shower/bath, it took up to 2 minutes till cold water started to run. So only really hot water was running first couple of minutes. But this issue we had only in one of our two rooms. In the other room was all good.

Shuttle bus service to the Festspielhaus, breakfasts from 7am, aircon in west-facing rooms, cleaning perfect, comfortable room, ironing room, walking distance to the Altstadt, bathtub instead of a shower stall

No fridge in the room or minibar with cold drinks, rather old furniture

Everything worked well. All appliances etc. Breakfast was wonderful Glass of champagne before catching the opera shuttle was so enjoyable Staff helpful - always considerate A comfortable and welcoming hotel. Even supplied a kettle for our room and tea bags. Excellent!

No complaints

Very convenient to the city centre, great service especially with transfers to-and-fro to the Festival Theatre for the opera including offers for dinner meals after the event. Having air-conditioning was great especially when it was rather warm outside. Just a short bus ride to the train station if you are commuting.

The beds were a bit small. Quite expensive stay during the festival season.

Everything went well and the location was very central and convenient. We very much appreciated the transport from the hotel to the Wagner Festival and back.

Unfortunately we couldn't dine anymore after returning from the festival, despite the fact that they only served cold dishes. They needed to be ordered in advance, what we didn't know.
