Hotel is still very good, if maybe a notch worse than in previous years. The breakfast is still generous. The scrambled eggs used be the best I have ever had at a buffet. Now they are standard. One person at the front desk was not great and actually caused me some problems, but the rest of the staff was great and tried to make it all better. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so you depend on taxis to get you into Bayreuth. But the cost and inconvenience of the taxis are offset by the very good prices, especially during the festival season.

Convenient and affordable stopover for those traveling on A9. We stayed here on our way home from a skiing holiday. Friendly staff, good restaurant. The bed was comfortable, we slept well and woke up refreshed in the morning. Good breakfast and free parking.

Peculiar location in an industrial area. The hotel is in its original 90s (?) outfit, so it's a bit run down but clean and comfortable. We couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work - maybe we should have paid for it? There was a strange humming noise outside until 10pm, which fortunately stopped after that and didn't disturb our sleep.

Comfortable quiet hotel while traveling. Easy exit from the highway, large parking and tasty breakfast. Very clean. Comfortable, large pillows - for me that's important.

Free internet for only 2 hours is a misunderstanding. It also interrupted, which made it difficult to use. This should not be a way to pay extra in today's world, when we all use the internet all the time. I travel a lot and this is the first time I've encountered this.

good breakfast, clean spacious room, nice outdoor space for drinks/meals. complimentary 2 drinks daily for 2 people during the Wagner Festspiel. Nice restaurant with a good kitchen and good service.

When I booked this room, I thought that there was a complimentary shuttle to and from the Festspielhaus, but it turns out that they charge for the shuttle service. We had a car, so this was not a big issue.

Hotel is located very close to highway (which was perfect for overnight stop during travelling), but it was quiet. Very good breakfast. There is hotel restaurant and shops in walking distance - so everything you need during your travel. We booked the room on our way and asked for a baby bed - everything was prepared once we arrived.

Our room was a bit older - but still had everything we needed.

The hotel was placed very close to the highway, making it a perfect stop to get some much needed sleep after a day of driving. They had a restaurant open, so we could get some food before bed and the breakfast was very good aswell. I would plan to go here again for sure.

We liked almost everything: the property has a great location right at the entrance of the Bayreuth, the rooms were clean and well arranged, the staff was nice to us, the breakfast (which is contra cost) was very diverse, all the products were fresh and delicious. It’s an advantageous price-quality ratio.

not sure why, but the navigation programs (Waze, Google Maps) didn’t lead us to the hotel and it’s parking place, but to a point located right on the boulevard. That’s was quite uncomfortable, but even so, we could identify a quick alternative route on the map.

Very good hotel, all was OK, good view at the boarder of Bavaria, sunset inclusive and silent, one of at least 5 hotels, with a (really) working air conditioning

Neighbors above did move very early (05:30 AM) for 30-45min. load footsteps, not sound proof at all

Single beds, but quite wide - one is still enough for one person, if you want, without sleeping on side. I guess they're 110-120cm wide. Very well placed for stop over on journey, next to motorway and nice petrol station nearby for breakfast/refuel anytime

On public holidays breakfast is from 7, what is bit late if you are on travel.

We spent just one night, a short stop during our travel. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly. We had a beautiful view from the room. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, it is open until 9pm. We recommend Cafe del Sol which is a 5 min drive by car. We enjoyed that the breakfast was until 11 at the weekend. The choices for breakfast where good, they also offer options for gluten free people if you let them know in advance. :) They also offer free fitness and sauna, which we sadly couldn’t use due to our limited time. We can recommend this hotel if you are travelling and need a a place to rest. They offer free parking in front of the hotel.

That the utensils to clean the car window have been left outside and so the water was frozen.
