Nice simple place. Easy to access, good breakfast. Rooms bigger than usual. Perfect for anyone going to the Messe (showgrounds). It's an easy 15 walk - no need to bother with public transport or taxi's. Loads or great restaurants a short walk away. Both S-bahn and U-bahn stations a short walk away. Wifi was excellent. RDP'ing into work server worked extremely well.

No onsite restaurant (for anything other than breakfast) or bar but not a big deal. Just putting this info for other travellers. Have to arrive before 9PM on check-in because the reception desk is not manned after 9PM (which also keeps prices down for travellers). Again not a big issue but important for travellers to know.

Staff was super kind and the person at the reception explained me about the night entrance patiently in very much detail, by showing photos etc. The location was good, close to Spandau station. Room was very clean and organized. Although the building is located on a busy street, the room was really calm. The building of the hotel is very nice. Finally, I’ve also liked the content of breakfast. The staff who works in breakfast room was very neat and attentive for everything. The price/performance is really good.

Everything was perfect

Friendly staff, room had plenty of space, complimentary tea, coffee, chocolate. I have arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time but it wasn't an obstacle to enter the reserved room. Perfect sound isolation, the suroundings were very quiet. Easily adjustable room temperature. Selection of breakfast food - not the biggest one, but it had everything one would basically need. Train station - 7-8 mins away.

I'm a Chinese-German, meaning for many local people, I look like a Chinese tourist but speak fluent German. Reviewers on booking.com often forget to mention their racial background (not nationality), which is actually quite important for a comfortable stay in a hotel. This is my second time staying at Vita Berlin. Staff very friendly, hotel room very quiet and clean. Breakfast staff very helpful, especially the big guy with a big smile. Internet (wifi) is good enough for FaceTime with family in another German city. Everything has been perfect for me. I will come back again next time I visit Berlin. 10/10

Consistent replies and detailed before arrival on booking. Sparkling clean facility. Staff is striving for customer satisfaction "anytime". Good breakfast. A separate comfortable smoking room for smokers(wow!) and it is well ventilated. Spacious rooms with everything I need. Medical pillow and a big soft pillow. Well done guys keep it up!

No drinking water bottle in the rooms.

The hotel was nice. It takes just one floor in a building. Very good buffet. Clean. Beautiful view from our window. Windows open for fresh air. Even though no AC, it was nice with fresh air. The manager was very helpful. All the staff was great. It felt cozy and comfortable. Close to several great restaurants, U-Bahn and buses.

You have to pay extra for your companion. But it might be a rule in general in Germany. In US we are not charged extra

Very nice hotel located in West Berlin, ca. 35 minutes from Hauptbanhof. Hotel is located on the 4th floor of the building. Fantastic, clean and spacious room, and very good breakfast. Very good Italian restaurant located on the other side of the street.

Coffee at breakfast was terrible. Check-in until 21.00, check-out until 10.00. Nevertheless the staff is very helpful and tries to be flexible. One must be in contact with the reception as the entrance to the building is from the right side, from the small yard.

This is a very special, small jewel of a hotel. I was lucky enough to find a room available here on the very busy weekend of the German football cup final at a reasonable price. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the Olympic Stadium in the pretty Westend district, and also within a few hundred meters of the U2 subway towards the center of Berlin. I‘d therefore recommend it for both (well-behaved) football fans and city tourists looking for a quieter base to stay. The special element is the staff, their pleasant manner, helpfulness and attention to the importance details of a hotel stay are perfect! By the way, don’t let the unusual hotel location on the 4th floor of a local government building put you off, this is a small, very professional hotel, with plenty of parking space available in the direct vicinity. A perfect stay!

Only that my team lost the cup final that weekend, guess I can’t blame the hotel for that ;-)

Hotel was very well located with helpful and friendly staff, who could answer and give advice to any tourist questions you may have.

I found the bedding pillows to be a little to big for my liking. I was given small pillows when requested but still found then to be to large for my personal sleeping position. But I soon adapted

The receptionists were all super kind and helpful. Breakfast was top.. everything was so fresh and delicious. The place is very clean and quiet. You just feel it's super peaceful to rest. I had a wonderful stay and great conversations with the the hotel staff. I stayed there while visiting Berlin to run the marathon. It was very close to the metro station. It was just perfect!
