I've certainly visited more attractive Courtyard by Marriott hotels worldwide, but this one met my expectations for a reasonable price. It was most likely created through the renovation of another accommodation facility. The rooms feel new, modern, and are practically equipped. The hotel restaurant offers the usual drinks and international cuisine at an acceptable level. The hotel is located off the highway, surrounded by fields, on the edge of an industrial area. However, if you're heading to the exhibition center or Borussia Dortmund stadium, the location is ideal.

Spacious room and well designed. Location nice and quiet but really close to Dortmund city centre.

Bed/matress was a little bit hard, also pillows could be more fluffy. Unfortunately, we had to pay the parking for 2 days/nights but we already paid at the ticket machine and didn’t even have the car in the parking lot the second night. Nobody informed us about the parking coming on the invoice or gave us a ticket to exit the parking lot (even after giving my license plate upon request).

Great location for the exent I was attending

I booked a single king bed and was given a double twin - so I was not very comfortable. Also, on arrival, I was told breakfast was included, but when I had breakfast I was told that it wasn’t part of my booking and I would need to pay extra, so that was less than ideal.

Great hotel, excellent food. Had an amazing gulash soup for lunch. The dessert Apfel Strudel was divine! Breakfast was ample with a great selection. Only 2km from exhibition centre. You could see the soccer stadium from the bedroom window.

Restaurant staff was super efficient but the reception staff quite slow. No pepper sauce or any other creamy sauce with steak. My booking.Com confirmation stated king size bed and I got a single bed.

Very comfortable rooms just outside of Dortmund. Plenty of parking spaces available. comfortable beds and modern bathroom.

Despite the a/c, the rooms we had were very warm in the night. No matter what we tried, we could not get in to cool down aside from opening a window.

The staff was really helpful and fulfilled even some of the special requests we needed, such as extra bed. The room was wonderful and also very well equipped. I also enjoyed the breakfast selection and possibility of having a meal throughout the day in the restaurant.

Location was in an industrial area, but the hotel itself was very good. Nice rooms, very attentive staff and the restaurant stayed open until late - 10 pm, which helped.

Location was not great, but for an overnight stay, can be ignored!

New and modern decor. Well-equipped room. Nice and helpful service.

The mattress is very soft and uncomfortable, but we should rest on it and not get tired. For breakfast, the machine prepared cold coffee with milk.It was impossible to drink.

Parking ticket was not working after i paid it, had to re-explain at the reception every time, get a new one, etc.
