Good location, next to central station, super nice staff, very kind !

Only 1 pillow, just 2 towels ( face and body) and i have to ask for cleaning, changing towels etc. Just 1 bottle of water for 3 nights , seriously?

The location was good, in front of the Central railway station (Hbf), it was 5 minutes walking from the Old market square and the rest of sightseeings in the city center.

I had a planned trip during one day of my staying. The day before in the morning I asked for a “lunch pack” to take with me for the next day at 5:30 am as my bus was leaving at 6:00 am and I was not able to have a breakfast at the hotel. The day before they told me that’s ok, but in fact I came to reception at 5:45 am and nothing was prepared and ready for me. So I left without any snacks. That was so disappointing. For a 4 star hotel the breakfast was so poor, no cold fish, lack of fresh fruits

I really enjoyed my stay at InterCity Hotel Dortmund. The location was very practical, and it was not loud at all. The room was a decent size, I felt comfortable and had place for my things. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. I requested a 2nd pillow for my comfort, and there were no issues. I slept well. The breakfast was also filling and I did find healthy options.

The drain in my sink was stuck... It did get repaired the day I mentioned it to the front desk, but I think these things should be noticed by cleaning. I also had to request the bottle opener for the water, since it was missing in my room from the beginning. I think both things could have been discovered before my stay, but they were small issues and were resolved immediately.

It had everything we needed. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was free bottled water which I appreciate a lot at hotels. Check in - check out was easy. Staff was really polite, friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. We were so tired and tense after a terrible train trip to Dortmund. But this stay was certainly a cure for it.

Great location, spotless, quiet, a great night‘s sleep

Didn’t try the breakfast as there were so many cheap options available at the station and 17€ seemed very pricey. It's worth noting that the bathroom isn't overly private. There is a frosted glass screen between the bathroom (the shower, to be specific) and the rest of the room. It's not see-through but I have been uncomfortable with this had I not been travelling with my husband. Also, the bathroom has a sliding door with quite a large gap which isn't ideal in terms of privacy.

It was located in the city centre so easy walking access to food outlets and other stores. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There needs to be information on how to get to the hotel car parking when making a booking. It wasn't on the booking confirmation print out. The hotel address isn't where you need to go to the hotel car parking entrance. Essentially it is a side street and you need to drive across the pedestrian mall to get to the entrance.

Breakfast was great, tasty and many choices, with great coffee. Served from 06:00 AM which is great for business travelers. Room and overall hotel very clean. Location is in the very center in a pedestrian area with many attractions within walking distance and main railway station literally a few steps away.

The staff is a bit slow, we had to make some requests a few times (it seems they do not communicate between shifts). Windows do not open in rooms.

I only stayed here one night between two trains. I had a nice room with everything I needed, and would have needed even if I had stayed longer. The location is excellent, right across the street from the railway station.

You have to take your luggage up some stairs to get to the hotel, but that is how Dortmund is.

Location was excellent for accessing dortmund centre as well as the train network. Rooms were very clean and the hotel interiors appeared as if they had recently been renovated. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly

As it was close to the main train staton there were always random people in the square in front of the hotel especially late in the evening. Was unable to adjust the thermostat in the room so became quite hot

Fantastic location, across the road from the Central Train Station, also central to city centre & Old Town. Hotel very clean, spacious comfortable rooms, free wi fi, staff very friendly & helpful. Would return on next visit to Dortmund, and would recommend.

Only one item, which the Hotel have no control over, many people sleeping rough outside and around vicinity of Hotel, expect to be approached when you exit the Hotel !
