Oh WOW! I've seen friendly and polite stuff, but these people are on the next level! The guy working the night shift, was so cool and professional. He offered me to switch rooms because one of the guests in the first room didn't have the best hygiene manners. In the morning, the other employees were just as nice. Like there wasn't a single one that was grumpy or not welcoming. High level of cleanliness, that i got accustomed to in A&O. Very reasonable prices. As a bonus, they have washing machines and a drier at the premises, that are run by other company, available through an online app. Stayed one more night because of the positive experience.

Nothing. Everything was as expected and even more. Great job to the stuff who runs this hostel, they all deserve the highest praise.

1. The big advantage of the hostel is its location: it is located in a porkch with a train station and a bus stop to the airport (about 5-7 minutes on foot). The city center is 10-15 minutes away, which is also convenient for walks and meetings. 2. The hostel has a division into female and male dorms, which is great (I was changed from a common dorm with 3 men to a female dorm for no extra charge) 3. The hostel has a 24/7 bar available, which can be useful for those who did not have time to have dinner or do not have time to have lunch. 4. Friendly and responsive staff who really cares about comfort;

The disadvantages were: 1. Poor soundproofing between rooms (unfortunately, during my visit, the neighbors in the other rooms were rowdy and noisy). 2. Lack of sockets near each of the beds and ventilation in the bathroom. 3. The corridors to the rooms are narrow

Clean bed, clean toilet and shower. Plenty of rooms, not to be too crowded. Good for overnight stay. The toilet and showers were inside the room a very big plus. The first 2 beds were next to each other, not ideal if someone else sleeps there, the other two were bunk beds. Only 2 people in the room at that time, overall a good experience, if i need to stay for a night in Dortmund for sure I will return

The bed no. 1 and 2 were joined together so if the room was full 2 people need to sleep next to one another, other than that one of the lockers had the door broken and you need to have your own padlock if you want to use them to secure your stuff while going out. They have some padlocks down in the reception you can buy at a vending machine for about 5 € each (good to have one with you beforehand).

Location of the hostel is 10/10. Room was huge and clean, good ventilated and arranged. Toilet and shower room were clean, shower gel, toilet paper and hairdryer were available. Staff was very pleasant, nice and smiling.

There's nothing about the property that I didn't like, it's just the roommate which had 0 tolerance for anything and behaved as the room was hers so she should decide when the lights are turning off, or how everyone in the room should behave. 🧐 One residing in hostel should be prepared to share the space with other people and that these people have their needs and lifestyles which are sometimes different from your own. Not everyone can fall asleep at 10 p.m. #justsayin

Very comfortable bed! Good thing bathroom and toilet are separate and are inside the room. Good value for money. Easy check in. Clean! You can walk straight into the reception without having to enter a door code first like in some other hostels.

Not a fan of having to make my bed and having to put the cover on the duvet by myself, as quiet as I can be, on a bunk bed, still making a bunch of noise and disturbing others when they are resting in the room. I dont understand how this is good for anyone!

Staff was very friendly, moved me to a female only dorm when she saw that I was alone. Room was very spacious and clean, beds were comfy and toilet was kept clean. Very close to the central station, making it a very convenient place to stay. Price was also pretty decent.

Surprisingly very little power plugs in the room. Had only 3 plugs in the room with 6 beds and 2 in the toilet?!?! Luckily there was only 2 of us in the room so there was no problem with charging our electronics.

So great location near the main railway station! At the reception and in the hall there is everything: drinks, cocktails, ice cream, a Pringles machine and also hand football, billiards,table tennis, places to work...nice café outside...welcoming staff, 24/7 reception, etc.

No refrigerator

Good, affordable hostel near Dortmund train station (Hauptbahnhof), with a cozy lobby where you can have a beer after a long travel day. The bunk beds, bathrooms and restrooms are fine. I was able to switch rooms after complaining about a smoking roommate.

The environment of the hostel is indeed very noisy. In hostels you sometimes have to deal with less pleasant roommates. The first night there was someone who regularly stood in front of the window smoking. I complained to him about this and reported him so I could change rooms. Another room guest later decided to change rooms for the same reason, because this smoking guest was still there and he was smoking again. While I appreciated being able to switch rooms, I would consider a zero tolerance policy on smoking advisable for the benefit of other guests.

The staff is friendly and very nice I will come back The breakfast is great Delicious food I would like to mention that the kitchen manager is a very dedicated employee and the company can be happy to have someone who takes on tasks for which he was not even hired, Because he was able to serve me super at the reception and it's not his normal Position.

Solid stay when you consider the price value. Did its job to give a roof over my head for one night to travel around dortmund. Will use this again if prices stay this low. Can't complain much about quality at that price tag

Uhh, rooms could be way cleaner and someone in my hostel room smelled badly. I think this is the only thing keeping me from rating it perfectly
