Location of the hotel was very central and so close to shops and restaurants yet the hotel was in a quiet street besides the bustle. Staff was nice but not everyone at the reception could communicate in English. Room was very comfortable , recently renovated hence had new and fresh look. It was good size room with sockets by the bed.

For queen bed we requested to have a single mattress but got 2 single mattresses joined together. The parking spots were very tight that once parked you could not open the doors on both sides. Not everyone at the reception spoke English which delayed check in and parking arrangements. But the staff was very professional and friendly. Breakfast was ok but the staff could be nicer and not clean up before the 11 o`clock deadline for breakfast on Sunday.

I liked the room, so did my son. It looked really cosy but was too tight.

Everything was too compact. 2 people can not conveniently sit on the chairs and have a discussion. The other person had to sit on the bed. That is how compact the room was. It was also too far away from the city. There was a close bus stop to the hotel but I never took the bus because you will need to have bought your ticket before getting on the bus, which was a challenge for us as we did nit know where to purchase the tickets.

We have overnighted only so, comfortable beds and shower were the most important. But we took a walk to the center, which is approximately 20 minutes. We were also afraid that parking could be a disaster but fortunately found the free parking place few steps from the entrance (hotel also suggested the garage for 14,5 per day but height limitations didn’t allow us to park there).

We got several messages and few emails from the hotel about check-in till 18:00, what was very confusing as according to the hotel policies desk works 24/7. I even called them to confirm if we still could check-in later. But after the call we got the message again so I wrote email and got the answer that it’s ok, desk is open. And guess what?! Yes, messages kept coming… the only non-refundable deal stopped me of canceling the booking. At the end everything was ok but I’d call these messages annoying.

The design of the Hotel, the corridors, the rooms, the bathroom, the carpetting of the floors everything is so perfect. Enjoyed my stay to the fullest. They had provided all sorts of toiletteries that one might need. One of the best stays in Germany. Even there is netflix subscription to end the evening perfectly. A lot of towels for each purpose were provided. One couldn't ask for anything more. Great size of the room, comfortable bed and blankets and lots of back rest pillows. If you need some pampering for yourself, the facilities have got you covered.

The location is a bit odd for the place. The nearby stations are a bit shadowy. Not a very well lit locality and the neighborhood is dirty. The points deducted are only for the location. The hotel itself is just perfect.

I liked the rooms, the quality and the outside design which is unique.

The noise made by other customers at 3 AM The location of the hotel (this is something that they can't change) The lack of parking spaces. In the afternoon you always had to drive around to search for a parking space. You would find one in 10-15 minutes and no further than 500m from the hotel.

From the moment I booked on Booking.com, I was constantly getting false spam mails. They were pretending to be hotel Unique Pearl. I didn't send them my credit card info, which they were asking for, but someone less knowledgeable could have given in. Very dangerous, needs to be solved!!!

OK location, clean, not hard to find free parking, walkable to downtown, breakfast is acceptable, but the same every day.

Family rooms are on the -1st floor, so the window is very high, which I couldn't open easily, at the same time, the window is at the bottom of the stairs, which is why you couldn't stay in the room without a thick curtain, and it's below the road and it's quite uncomfortable. 1 bed was good, and the other one was a sofa spread out instead of a bed and only had a sheet covering it, which kept moving, I will upload photos for that. I asked, but they didn't have disposable slippers, and there is a carpet on the floor, it is very unhygienic to walk in shoes all the time.

Parking situation is very poor. The hotel also offers a parking garage (paid) however the spots are very limited and require early reservation. As a women I had some trouble with opening the garage and required help from someone stronger than me, unfortunately the initial response when requesting help was that it’s not possible because nobody is available. In the end, somebody showed up to help. Also, the parking spot is very narrow and short so if you own a longer car like me, the garage door will likely not close.

New and refurbished hotel slightly on the outskirts of Dortmund. The rooms are very up-to-date with everything pretty much in it's place. There's a few bars (one down the street) and restaurants/take aways a little further. Overall a great place to stay in the city.

Shower couldn't be adjusted and just blasted water at your head, this was in room E012. The receptionist had a heavy cold and should have been omitted from service on that day. It's unpleasant to interface with someone who's got a cold.

The room was exactly like in the pictures, super comfy, nicely decorated and spacious. The bed and the pillows were great! I slept so well! The check in process with pre-registration was fast and easy, and the receptionists were kind. It was walking distance to Junkyard so it's perfect for attending concerts or events there.

I'd just request a different room next time since it was right next to the staff room and near the elevator, so it was a little bit noisy. The neighborhood isn't very nice, there's not much around and the coffee in the room isn't good, so I'd suggest booking with breakfast included.
