Pre-check in online was great. Very cool hotel, room was large and comfortable. Situated close to the U tram stop and shops and bakery and a really lovely Greek restaurant

Bathroom was incredibly small but the shower was nice. Had to buy shampoo as what was provided was shower gel and only a very small amount but its a minor complaint. I had looked up before if I needed to bring shampoo and it said they were provided so I didn't bring any. Minor complaint is all

It's been my second time at staysdesign dortmund. In September I managed to get a firstfloor spaceous room which was simply amazing at a wonderful rate. This last stay in November I decided to book almost last-minute and tried the smaller 5th floor room (Sgl). Here I found little space (three hang-ups on the wall and some open shelves to stuff my carry-on luggage). On day 2 (a Sat or Sunday morning) when leaving the room, the button to call the lift on the top (5th) floor wasn't reacting. When I reported the issue to the receptionist, it was shortly fixed. Really stunning. Before travelling to Dortmund, make sure to check the soccer calendar as prices during important games may almost tripple during those nights. Very good breakfast, big room, comfy bed, clean and tidy

Elevator was not working - for one night stay it was not an issue to take small suitcase upstairs but with big one it would've been less convenient Blankets a bit small for tall/big people Parking space is very limited and parking spots are super tiny, we were lucky to get the last spot

The rooms are exactly as they look in the pictures on the website. Was clean, comfortable, warm, quiet, and so on. 90% I am glad that the requirements were met. Was really nice😊

there are only 2 points of view: 1. I didn't like the fact that from the requirements (although I talked about paying extra without any problem) the wine and chocolate were missing. 2.The fact that we paid twice to stay in the room longer than the time we were supposed to leave. But that's really not the problem. Next time a little more attention and everything will be perfect. But 100% we will come again with pleasure😊

There was great customer service from the staff. The hotel was a little bit outside of the center, about a 30 minute walk. It was a clean hotel with a luxurious feeling, the lounge and bar was a nice area to chill and relax

The room was very clean, the service was excellent, anything that we needed was available and provided quickly, and it was an awesome value, in addition to being centrally located. We would recommend it to everyone that we know.

The staff were all very helpful, and they gave me bed and breakfast at very short notice. They also spoke excellent English. In everything, they did a very good job. The room was clean and comfortable, facilities were excellent, and so was the food. It was some distance from the event I was attending - but that is hardly their fault! So, all in all, excellent - and I would unhesitatingly recommend Stays Design Hotel Dortmund to anyone wishing to stay in Dortmund.

Slightly noisy the first 2 nights.

The rooms where decent for the money and also bar prices were better than other hotels...

Heating was very bad and also the lift wasn't working.And also there was a small misinformation from the descriptions we should have coffee capsules in the room but there was none for some reason.

Very comfortable room with everything you need. We were able to park our motorcycles right outside the reception area. Breakfast was fantastic with everything you might fancy and the option for freshly cooked eggs. The breakfast room also had a lovely outside dining area

Only down side is when it got busy driving round to find a parking spot . But thinking maybe that had something to do with football in Dortmund this weekend
