Location! Staff very accommodating - comfortable bed liked the view from the room.

Charging €1 per coffee used in room is kinda ridiculous- every hotel I have ever stayed in has provided tea/coffee facilities free of charge - it’s not like you are an ‘affordable/cheap’ hotel for the area so bog standard coffee facilities should be included.

Good location, close to all interesting places and Christmas markets, a lot of restaurants around

There was no parking in the hotel, receptionists suggested another parking near hotel but it costs 28 euro per day, I found another parking 5 minutes far from hotel that was costed me 21 euro for 3 days ( parking located opposite to police station Tzschirnerplatz 5). Another thing that disappointed me a lot - they don’t have a cattle in the rooms, only nesspresso coffee maker, you can’t drink tea if you don’t like coffee :( BTW coffee and beverages aren’t free, 1 no-name coffee capsule costs 0.95 euro 😳 It was cold in the first night and there is no way to heat the room except bathroom towel dryer. So 4 stars more like 2 )

No parking in the hotel No breakfast From the photos it looks like that in the rooms is a water kettle and tea. In reality there is a coffee machine. It will be good if you will show recent photos in the presentation. Twice between 8-9 am on Sunday the cleaning lady tried to enter the room to clean. The reception gave only limited hours - that's quite unusual for a 4* hotel. All the feelings were more like an upgraded Ibis hotel than the proud 4* hotel.

The staff was helpful and pleasant. The canvas on the upper part of my shoe developed a small hole & they had a sewing kit which patched it up perfectly. They were also helpful in providing me with some ice from their bar so I could ice down a warm bottle of Cola I got at a local store. The location was central to the old part of town but quiet and peaceful.

I can't think of anything negative about this hotel. I'd happily stay here again.

This place was better than expected! Room was modern and clean. Breakfast area was comfortable and had lots of food options. Hotel staff was helpful letting us check in early, holding our baggage free of charge and booking a taxi for us to the airport.

No water in lobby, would have been helpful on extremely hot days. Air condition made a weird noise every few minutes but didn't keep us awake.

The room was clean and equipped with all the minimal amenities for a 4-days stay. I appreciate the use of refillable soap instead of the single-dose soap and shampoo, which are a useless waste. The used coffee capsules were replaced every time the room was cleaned. The position is great, in the very center of the city.

The price was a bit higher than it should be considering the size of the room. For that price, a larger room with some free drinks would have been appreciated.

The hotel was clean and the beds super comfortable. The location was good in terms of being right in the old town area and in front of a big plaza with lots of shops / restaurants. Very easy to walk about and see the sights. Wifi was very good.

It was a bit of a far walk on cobblestones from the train station, however it was close walking distance to the old town sights.

The personell are friendly, everything was clean, bed was comfy. The room had lots of space and felt very luxurious. She was in awe and gasped when she saw the bathroom, we specifically requested a room with a bathtub. The request was happily met. The opera, aswell as other sights are just around the corner. The opera is a 5min walk away. Across the street is a great Dutch Pancake restaurant. It was an amazing breakfast.

The only thing we could think of, was the placement of a glass panel in the bathroom that’s supposed to prevent the shower head to splash water everywhere (it’s half as wide as the bathtub) if you don’t remember to open the valve to drain it before you get out, it gets a bit awkward to open it because you have to reach around the glass panel. Everything else was perfect.

Appreciated the modern rooms, great service offered by the staff, and the location of this hotel. Located very conveniently in the Old Town square, as well as 5 minutes walk away from the big mall nearby, and all the great tourist spots of Dresden including palaces were also in the nearby surrounding area. We actually had other family members stay in nearby hotels, and popular international brand named hotels nearby did not match up to the standards of this hotel. Our room was very big, clean bathrooms, nice blackout curtains. Customer service was excellent, we even got things we needed to ask for at the reception (like extra pairs of hotel slippers). Nice coffee machine in the rooms. Easy out-of-hour access, and a cute little terrace on the fifth floor. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly, the minibar fridge in the room was switched off. We couldn't get it to work. But it wasn't a big deal and we didn't get around to reporting to reception at the time.

Perfectly central in the Altstadt and walking distance from seriously everything. Even the Neustadt is within a five to ten minute walk. Everything is clean, comfortable, and nice all around.

It would be nice to request earlier check-in... but I'm grasping at straws for things "I didn't like". I guess the only real thing I didn't like is that because it's so central, you'll be surrounded by other tourists around 12:00-17:00, so if that's not your cup of tea, it might spoil some parts. Nothing terrible though.
