The location is very convenient — right in front of the main railway station. The room was very clean, the shower is really nice.

The breakfast was subpar. I was surprised how poor was choice of ingredients, have not seen anything like this in quite a long time. The staff did not try too hard to be helpful. They were not rude, nothing like it. But rather indifferent.

A basic but perfectly fine room. Clean, functional, spacious (a 'corner room" at the far end of the building), in a central location.

Parking fee of 15 EUR listed on the website, yet staff at check-in quoted 19 EUR. I don't recall that there was a coffee maker in the room, which would be good to have.

Perfect stay. Due to missing a train connection I had to book at short notice and was a very reasonable price in the circumstances. Check in just after midnight was very easy and my paperwork was ready even though I had only booked a short while ago. InterCityHotels are normally a high standard but this one was immaculate, very clean and looked brand new! Air con was very effective and a nice view of the Hauptbahnhof from my window (which opened for ventilation - but that turns the air con off!) Bed was very comfy and bathroom was well-equipped and stylish.

In the odd numbered room the lower floors on the lower floor the noise from the road on that side of the hotel could disturb some people. That said the sound proofing is pretty good - but the road is still evident.

Room was so quiet and comfortable. Lovely bathroom, amazing shower with multiple heads and great pressure. Bottle of water is a nice touch. Much nicer than the Ibis opposite, where I have usually stayed. Breakfast at €17 is not cheap but it was SO GOOD. * White and brown rolls, toast, cakes, pastries * Jams and spreads * Yoghurts, muesli, fresh fruits * Cold meats and cheeses even teewurst * Hot crispy bacon, sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs, tomatoes baked with cheese * Salad-type Mediterranean things * Many different types of milk * WMF bean to cup coffee machine * Lots of different teas Best of all, the lady from the kitchen kept coming out and checking the levels of everything so that nothing even came close to running out. This drove me CRAZY at the Ibis. I wanted to hug her. As long as the room price is close to that of the Ibis, will stay here every time I fly into Düsseldorf.

Shower has no door and is very powerful so water got all over the bathroom floor. But it was worth it for that great shower

The usual: good location by the Duisburg station, very clean & practical rooms, nice design in the rooms -the big Duisburg map on the wall above the bed is pretty cool :-)

Staff at check-in at 23:00 was not super-friendly and not able / willing to give useful info about parking possibilities (I found out myself that the closest Parkhaus is on the other side of the station, a 5 minutes walk. But at night, due to the proximity of the train station, the area is a bit dodgy. One can try to find a space on the street by the hotel though, it's all a bit "sort it out yourself")

The hotel environment is strategic (close to the train station), secured environment, rooms are clean, good toilet and bathroom, room heaters serviceable and quiet environment

There is nothing to comment on dislike. I like virtually all I touched for the one night I stayed there.

Everything was clean. you need your key to get into the hotel and onto each floor which felt safe. close to the train station. Allowed Bicycles in the room during the race.

Toilets for the bar are downstairs so you wait for the lift.

I often stay in Duisburg when flying late into Düsseldorf. Excellent location, nice room and excellent breakfast. Amazing value for money. Much better than the B&B hotels at either side of Duisburg station

Good breakfast nice room and bathroom. Located next to the train station and not far from town.

Seems to be a trend that if you book a double room for single use you only get one duvet, towel and pillow. Not everyone is trying to sneak somebody into the room!
