The property was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. We had an adjoining room with our two children which was very convenient. Our booking included breakfast which offered a large variety of food and we enjoyed this each morning. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and it was tasty with a friendly waiter. It was a short walk from the train station which was the primary reason we chose this hotel.

It’s not a reflection on the hotel but the surrounding area between the hotel and train station are some rough streets. They are for adult entertainment and were full of people working the nights and using certain substances. We chose to walk the long way around to the train station to avoid crossing paths with these folk. They did not interact with us but were unpleasant to witness, especially with our children.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a great bed and a shower that had good water pressure and temperature. Good shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even lotion was provided. We were warmly greeted at check-in, and the staff remained friendly throughout our stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the train station and close to Frankfurt’s main attractions. We felt safe in the area and appreciated how convenient everything was. Breakfast was a highlight! There were so many delicious options, and the service was fantastic. This was truly one of our top stays while exploring the Rhine and Mosel regions. Highly recommend!

Quite comfortable room, good breakfast, wi-fi ok. However, you need to pay 23€, if you booked the room without the breakfast.

Location. The part of the street Taunusgasse which is close to the Centra Railway station and very close to the hotel is not safe, as it is drugs&sex street. If you need to walk from the Central Railway Station (which is only 5 min walk to the hotel) in the late evening, for it was really horrible experience. I tried the same path on Saturday morning, also negative experience. Strange that the local police is not taking care of drugs problems in the area where are so many tourists.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn with colleagues for a business trip and it was good hotel for this purpose. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable for my stay. The room was a bit on the smaller side in terms of floor space, but had a comfortable bed, spaceous desk, wardrobe, good sized bathroom, functioning air con (needed during a 30+ degrees trip), nice lobby and bar. The gym was on the small side but clean with modern facilities. All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The obvious downside is the area, which is not pleasant but it is just an inherent issue with this particular area of Frankfurt. The street that this Hilton is located on itself is fine and did not seem unsafe, however the neighbouring streets had particularly unpleasant scenes that my colleagues and I experienced. This problem is out of the control of the hotel, so I do not think it should be marked down because of it, but it is something that guests should be mindful of before they book here. For my business trip, it was conveniently located close to where my meetings were held but if I were to stay for a leisure trip, I may consider staying elsewhere.

Ok, this is a very good hotel but disadvantaged by the location. Unless you arrive by taxi you need to run the gauntlet of streets from the main station to the hotel. On my trip at 1.00pm it was a challenge. It's not the hotel's fault, of course, but nevertheless it is a poor location. The other direction is the central business district which is lovely. Don't forget, Frankfurt is small so there isn't too many coffee shops or bars. Plan ahead. Now for the hotel. It is excellent. The staff are friendly and organised, the rooms are clean and functional (irons and hairdryers in rooms). The TV has limited channels but some are English. The mini bar is empty and instead you buy from the shop downsatirs and charge to the room. The breakfast is excellent. Plenty of choice and good quality food. Air Con is excellent. All in all I would definitely use this hotel again but I would arrive by taxi.

The location.

The hotel was as expected - clean, functional room, good facilities, the staff were very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the central station and the city centre. If you choose to walk from the station to the hotel (less than 10 minutes) I strongly recommend you avoid Taunusstraße, which is truly unsavoury and where you have a good chance of being accosted by drug dealers. Take Kaiserstrasse instead and then turn left.

Breakfast was okay but service a bit random.

The staff at the Reception Desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold food. The location was very convenient for us - near the Old Town and close to the river bank. However, we were told several times that the area between the hotel and the main railway station was not safe and that we should be particularly careful here at night. We never felt unsafe walking around this area in daylight and in the evenings we walked in the opposite direction to dine in the Old Town.

The staff was very helpful and warm. The room was spacious, comfortable, great water pressure in the shower. Near the main attractions in town. Food was fantastic, both for dinner and the breakfast,highly recommend!

Not the hotel itself but the surrounding area is quite dodgy nearby the train station. A lot of drugs and prostitution in broad daylight. But towards the attractions it is fine.

Loved the hotel and the staff was very helpful. We felt a little unsafe in the surrounding area at night. We felt safe during the day. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the service was generally very good. The exception was the omelet maker that ignored everyone who went there to order (while we were there.)

If it was made more clear that if we didn't order the breakfast when we checked in (we didn't know what was available in the surrounding area so we didn't) that we could charge it to our room. We thought that we could just go and pay so we confused everyone by arriving without a breakfast ticket. There was also a language barrier issue which complicated the matter.

Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but food seemed very good. Not sure really what more I could have asked for other than not being on the ground floor. Will look to stay again.

Being on the ground floor at street level. There was a little bit of noise from outside - bin lids and someone being sick for example. Next time around I will ask for a room higher up!
