Location right next to the railway station! Nice bar and common area. Comfort in dorms, all good. The redlightdistrict thing - maybe more of a plus, where else have you seen this kind of lifestyle? They mind their own business and are totally harmless

Do you really want to collect all this cash - 2 eur for city tax, 3 for bed linens, 2 for key deposit…

Small things matter - the fact that the lobby area is open to all guests all the time and there's complimentary tea and coffee is a small thing, but very appreciated. The staff are very friendly and eager to help - I arrived a few hours before the official check-in time, but had no trouble getting checked in early. The room had everything one might need, I didn't really have the chance to check out the kitchen/laundry room, but I know they exist. The staff are very security-minded and don't let people wander in without checking if they're guests.

The bunk beds felt a bit flimsy - I could feel most movements of the person below me when on the top bunk. While not specifically the hostel's fault, it's worth noting that the location can be off-putting to some people. Most German cities have issues with the area around their Hauptbahnhofs (that's modern Germany for ya...) and Frankfurt is no exception - the streets around the hostel, especially after dark, can feel very unsafe (it doesn't help that there's about 4 sex shops/brothels nearby). But the staff are very mindful of this fact and thoroughly check everyone who tries to get into the hostel, so while the street might feel unsafe, as soon as you get inside the hostel you'll feel a weight off your shoulders.

the place was really really awesome the rooms and facilities provided a very cool hipstery atmosphere and i enjoyed a lot the couple of hours i got to spend in the common area

The location if very convenient. Two blocks from the Main Train station, Subways, Trams and busses. Being in the Red Light District is no problem during the day. (I just didn't go out at night.) All the staff members were great. Alice was friendly and exceptionally helpful with advise and direction. The daily cleaning resulted in VERY clean bathrooms, showers, dorms and kitchen. One of the cleanest hostel I've stayed in to date and I travel lots.

Can not really say of any complaints with the hostel. The number of street people, trashcan pickers, ongoing drugs and drug sales in the streets was terrible, but sad. The police do NOTHING, but turn their heads away, when encountering the drug sales and use everywhere in this district.

The rooms were nice, showers big, everything was quite clean. Theres a nice terrace on the backyard away from the streets, and the living areas were comfortable. Its very close to tha station!

Close to no ventilation in the capsules, just a small fan in the corner, that didnt even blow any air in my direction. The area is very bad and sketchy. We had a situation where someone went through our luggage in the locked luggagestorage room, but the staff was extremely helpful and took the case very seriously, i was even able to meet the manager in the morning to chat over this. So maybe leave your stuff unattended with caution. Would still stay here again the next time, because it was otherwise a very nice place to stay and seemed otherwise very safe!

I'm not a typical backpacker. I'm retired and now doing the travel/'gap year' type stuff I wanted to do at 18 - but didn't ! Good hostel. Excellent 'happy hour' deals at the bar. Comfy, friendly good value. Free coffee - but, even at breakfast it was seldom much above lukewarm. If they sort that, there'd be little to complain about. Immediate neighbourhood is ,edgy/dodgy and the centre of the red light district. It is though only a five minute at most walk from the main railway station. Would happily revisit/recommend.

Cool/cold coffee. Ist floor gents toilet was blocked and overflowing for a good few hours - but these things happen and it did get sorted.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and safe, which is so important as a solo female traveler. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer great recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, making it easy to meet fellow travelers, yet there were also quiet spaces to relax when needed :) The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect—close to everything I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip. Highly recommend it to any solo traveler looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

Beds were comfortable, clean hostel, WiFi was fast and well covered across the building and rooms, breakfast was decent, walking distance to the Frankfurt main train station. Staff was friendly.

Location in the red light district, some homeless and drug users. Also drunk people screaming and talking loud on the streets. International debit and credit card payments should be allowed for any transaction amount and not limit to a minimum spend at the front desk. The private room with private bathroom could be supplied with bathroom floor mat to wipe feet and not wet the bedroom floor, as the floor can be wet after a shower.

The most social hostel in Frankfurt with friendly staff and comfortable private rooms (I didn't experience the shared rooms). The location is often mentioned as being very bad in the reviews because of having so many sketchy people on drugs nearby. That's true, but I didn't see those people causing any problems for anyone. I returned after midnight every night and didn't feel unsafe. Besides it's only 2 minutes to get out of that area and back to normalcy. I would recommend staying here if you're in doubt only because of the location.

Outstanding Hostel, met some great people, I stayed in the pods which were great for security, there was a locker each in my 4 man pod room which ensure you have a padlock good to go if you want to secure more kit. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful also

Location was very sketchy, be prepared to walk out the door to a heavy amount of drug use, homless people, I was aware I was staying in the red light district but the drug use was another level, so have your wits about you if you do stay there
