I don’t understand the awful reviews because I had such a pleasant experience. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The housekeeper in the next morning gave us more time to get ready and to check out . The bed was large enough for 2 people , the bedding was white clean . The bathroom was perfect . I will definitel be back

My ratings are based on the price I paid. If I had paid more for this stay, the place would have rated less. I was looking for a clean room, close to the train station where I could sleep overnight before trekking on. My introvert self was peopled out and needed a private place rather than a hostel. This provided exactly that. For the price that I paid this place was superb.

This is more of an FYI for those who may find these things unwanted. Personally, I was satisfied with my stay. It is in the part of Frankfurt where the people who have been discarded by society live on the streets and on my walk from the train station I passed a few drug deals going on. If you're uncertain about your ability to handle yourself well in this kind of neighborhood, you should look elsewhere. I am also a sound sleeper and so was not particularly looking for a quiet neighborhood. I was able to sleep well through the night, but a lighter sleeper may find it difficult.

Location perfect for access to travel options and to walk into the old town. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a good choice of food

In need of some refurbishment, water stains on bedroom ceiling, flooring probably needs replacing but understand money and time is tight for everyone. Yes there were homeless about we were not bothered by them.

I appreciated the well prepared and clean room. The receptionist was really kind and helpful with explaining us everything. The underground parking provided by Carlton was right next to the property and accessible anytime.I would definitely recommend to stay at Carlton Frankfurt. I had an amazing stay, thank you.

I received a warm welcome at reception, and felt cared for. I was given a quiet, good-sized room away from the street. It's in a convenient position for the train station. I only stayed here for one night, arriving mid-evening and leaving early next day, so I was glad of a relaxing space at a very good price. WiFi was excellent.

The staff is very helpful, even after the check/out they help former guests with their rather unusual requests...I thank them, their assistance helped me in my work very much, indeed.

Booked for a few hours before my flight during the day. Value for money, you get what you pay! Don’t expect anything fancy, but a bed to sleep and can shower.

Return of keys while going out of the property is not too good.

Perfect location, 5 minutes to the Frankfurt main railway station, tasty breakfasts, very helpful and friendly staff. I would definetely recommend to choose this hotel and I would come there again while my next visit of Frankfurt.

The reception staff are very helpful and welcoming in this modest older hotel just minutes from Frankfurt station. The price for the single room is unbeatable and if you want more space a double room is not much more expensive. The breakfast is basic but fine. I have been here many times and will certainly return again.
