The hotel was well decorated and bright, the room was very neat. The reception was very welcoming and professional. Everything is good. The hotel is better than the others in its price range.

The only slight downside was the location, it's too close to the train station and there were a lot of smoking and not very friendly looking people on the street. As a woman traveling alone I felt a little intimidated.(Just my personal thoughts, objectively speaking the proximity to the train station is very convenient)

Hi, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was small but very clean and cozy. I'd like to emphasize that the staff was amazing, caring and helped me with my endless questions. The location of the hotel is close to the train station, which is what I wanted, but for me this area seemed a little unsafe. The hotel staff assured me not to worry and helped me call a taxi for my departure at 5am. I'm so so grateful to the man who was at the reception in the evening on 07/10. Thanks a million. First of all, the staff was very responsive and polite. The hotel is located 6' on foot from the train station, so it's super convenient to stay there if you're traveling via train. Decent breakfast

As many reviews already stated, the location around the hotel isn't the best, and you feel a bit uneasy walking there, but eventually it didn't seem that it can be dangerous. It 's also quite noisy at night, even though we were sleeping on the 6th floor and the hotel provided with earplugs, you could still hear music coming from outside and of course (as in every hotel), the noisy guests from the other rooms...

Kind staff, good food, nice room, very clean, comfortable, warm, they came every day to clean the room. Very nice view from the room window. We booked a triple room, but ended up only 2 of us. Without even requesting, staff said they will refund for 1 person the breakfast and the city tax that were included in the price, as we staid there only 2 and we paid for 3. We appreciated this, you don't see it often. Very easy to get there from main train station, few minutes away.

Location. The hotel itself is excellent, good people, clean, very well organised etc. But, while is good that is only 5 min away from the main train station, is located near the worst place in Germany probably- with drug dealers selling drugs in plain sight, drug addicts screaming, making so much noise the whole night. You can't have the windows open, as you hear them the whole night and cannot sleep. Police sirens heard all night. Tip for girls- get to the hotel early. The hotel is perfectely safe. But you don't want to be on your way to the hotel from city/train station with all the drug addicts around, if you get there after 6-7pm you already see them gathering.

The food at breakfast was so relaxing and quint , the receptionist and the fact I could check in hours before the time ....thank you ....as I arrived early hours of the morning in Frankfurt .... The chocolates or sweats on the bed was a perfect touch and water bottles everyday much appreciated. But the hotel does not disappoint and it's very close to the main train station and walking distance to Malla the River and The Old Town areas.

The spiral staircase outside my window .. spoiled the view and was the escape route so there was an emergency light on 24 hours , right through the night ....whereas I thought it was light outside even though the block out curtains were drawn shut . The streets around the hotel were not pleasant ..even though there are nice convenient shops around. The doggy characters are off putting and scary

Very good facilities, friendly staff, very nice breakfast, central location, very clean place. In general, great value for money.

The hotel is great value for money, but the street where it's at can be a bit rough sometimes, especially if the weather is good. There is a serious drug problem near the central station, and in streets further to the east of the hotel, so one shall surely spot strange people in the vicinity. Having this said, such strange people shall not approach you, and you will be safe. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is what it is. Oh, and police is taking a good grip now on the situation. I would have no problem staying in the same hotel once again, as the hotel is indeed great value for money.

Hotel Adler is located a few minutes' walk from the main train station. From the hotel, we walked to the Main River, and to the old town / Altstadt within 20 minutes. The location was great for arriving by train, and for departing from the airport, since the airport can be easily reached by S-Bahn train in under 30 minutes. Hotel staff were helpful and efficient, and the breakfast was good value for the money. The hotel appears recently renovated, and the rooms fully met expectations, very clean, with good towels and bedding, excellent shower pressure, in-room safe, tv and fridge in the room. There is no a/c in the rooms, but the windows open fully and there is a powerful ceiling fan.

Though the hotel is located on a street with several other hotels, the area close to the train station does seem to have a lot of "unusual characters," as in many cities. We preferred walking to/from the hotel along the main street by the train station, and not from the back along Niddastrasse.

I stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While the neighborhood is just okay, the hotel is conveniently located in the city center, just a five-minute walk from Hauptbahnhof and close to all transportation options. There are a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping places nearby. The prices are affordable, making it a great choice. Totally recommended! Thank you!

The neighborhood could use some improvements in terms of cleanliness and overall comfort

The hotel was super convenient for Frankfurt Central Station - literally 5 minutes walk max. The staff (manager, reception, housekeepers and breakfast assistants) were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable knowledgeable. Our room was lovely and spacious, light and clean. Had everything we wanted (other than a cuppa, but we were staying for 2 weeks - just for overnight that wouldn't be desired) - nice shower, bottled water, fridge, safe. Room attended every day.

Like I say, as we were staying longer than normal in this hotel (most people were just overnight for a train or airport connection) we longed for a cup of tea or coffee in our room, but it did not spoil a thing.

Like in many German hotels, you can hear anything your next door neighbour does; here, you may hear conversations a few doors down. The hotel did provide earplugs, which can be helpful. At night, I had to keep the windows closed due to the noise from the gangs, drug dealers, and homeless people congregating around the hotel. Not the safest location for solo female travellers. I was harassed by homeless people when leaving the hotel, but the hotel itself had good security. Nothing the hotel can do anything about, and I hope it won't be one of many businesses in the area that closed down due to safety concerns. It's a shame what became of Frankfurt.
