Clean room, great price, nearain train station.

The description near the red light district would be more accurate if stating 'in' the red light, drug, and semi-homeless district, as that area seems to form a circle of 2 blocks surrounding the train station. Not safe at night, but normal city neighborhoods, restaurants and businesses were a short block walk in the other direction, away from the train station.

The floor price is fair enough however the ceiling price is too high. I'm wondering if the reception could be helpful with parcel receiving.

The hotel is two blocks from the main train station and an easy walk to the main shopping district. The rooms are neat and the cleaning staff are conscientious in checking in on you for a longer stay. The wifi is fast and consistent as well.

The hotel is on the wrong corner of the block with a lot of brothels/strip clubs which always have groups of men and girls hanging around all the way up both streets. If you're an anxious person this can be intimidating, although none of them approached me as a single female and the hotel itself feels very secure. It's honestly only the one street though once you're around the corner you're on a popular and busy street with lots of lovely places to eat.

Location was great - 8.5s on the radar, easy access to bars and "special services". Quality sounds at night - really relaxing - unfortunately the nittys stopped yelling between 5-7am :(. I'm now requesting headspace add nitty noises to their sleep music arsenal - not sure I'll be able to sleep without them. You can't call it a Frankfurt trip without staying in this gaff! 10/10

To the management of Hotel, I am pleased to say that my stay at your Hotel has been excellent and has surpassed all my expectations. The staff was very wonderful and catered to my every need. The room was impeccably clean and all the facilities were in perfect working order. Thank you for your excellent hospitality, and I hope to stay at Hotel City Star again soon.

Very clean and visible well managed property.

The location is same as good as as bad. If you need location in city centre it's ok, if u need plenty city centre street weirdos u may meet them but they are not in the hotel allowed.

The room was clean. Although I found a nail on the floor. The bathroom was also clean!

Unfortunately, outside of the hotel is not very safe for somebody to be alone, especially at night. Gotta be careful!!

Spotlessly clean and spacious room. Hotel is 100 yards from busy main shopping street. V close to main railway station. Perfect for male solo traveller or group of lads.

Street its on looks a bit rough with some homeless etc, which female travellers may find intimidating. In reality though, I saw no trouble of any kind.

Cheap; close to station; what I was looking for

Not for families or single women traveling. Expect a big drug / vagrant presence in the red light district outside. If you're a single guy and don't mind; no problem.
