The hotel is very basic but it’s everything I was looking for. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff member I dealt with was very helpful. It’s in the heart of the city which is already easy to get around with the excellent transport links. The hotel is in the heart of the city and I’ll be staying again next year on return.

I actually don’t really have any suggestions for me personally to change it was a throughly enjoyable stay.

This property has all the necessities like a hot shower, and hairdryer and is situated right next (about 80m) to the Willy Brandt Platz metro station so it’s very convenient to get around. It is right smack in the CBD area and can walk easily to the Galeria or My Zeil to do some shopping which has Global Blue that can do tax returns partially on the spot (saves time).

The hot flask probably needs replacing as it looks like it has been very well used. The shampoo and bath gel container was not topped up when I was there (small issue and I didn’t want to go all the way down to the reception to ask for it to be topped up as I brought my own toiletries and my room was at the topmost floor).

Location is excellent, walking distance to Frankfurt main station & to the Galeria, My Zeil shopping malls & Christmas markets. Hot showers, hairdryer, toiletries, large towels, hand towels were all provided. Hotel manager is very friendly & fair.

The shower doors with rollers look very well-used & dislodge easily so it is probably safer (to avoid glass breakage) to remove them & replace with shower curtains.

We had conjoining rooms that were both very large. The hotel is clearly outdated, but was very clean. Charlie (the manager) was very nice, spoke great English, and was able to check us in early. The blankets were very warm and the beds were comfortable. The heat worked great for us, as did the showers. one shower door was a little broken, but still useable. location was perfect and the hotel was priced well. There was a gentleman painting the hallway walls when we arrived so it seems like they’re attempting the renovate.

Just a little outdated and worn. No parking available, had to park in a nearby garage.

It is an older budget hotel but the room was large and clean. It's located right at a underground station and is very easy to reach. There was a small fridge and kettle in the room which was not expected.

There are no facilities to store baggage until you check in. They did very kindly allow us to store our bags in an empty room but imagine it would be an issue if there were no vacant rooms.

I don't know what some people expect from a hotel room in a major city for £30 per night but the Willy hotel is great value for money, central location, clean, towels and bedding changed daily without asking and the manager was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend for people just wanting a clean comfortable bed for the night

Not a lot to dislike if your on a budget, no frills but clean and comfortable

Overnight between Munich & Amsterdam. Location- easy walk from Central station & lots of cafes and restaurants, room size, clean beds, efficient check in, windows opened all the way, elevator

Goose down pillows/bedding (requested hypoallergenic - I'm allergice to goose down), dirty refrigerator, shower door fell off track (easy to put back on)

I must emphasise the kindness with which I was received at this hotel. As I stayed here after coming straight from the airport and having nowhere to leave my bags, since I was going to work in the morning after, the staff promptly suggested I leave the bags there. They were even kind enough to say that I could just leave them in my room after the checkout and they would take care of moving them to a more appropriate place. Service: 10/10

The staff was very nice. It has a balcony which is good, however the view is not the best. It is walking distance to the city center (old town), maybe 10/15 minutes.

I think it is a bit expensive for what of offers.

The room was clean, huge, and had a great view. The location was very central with a great selection of good restaurants nearby. Short walk from the Aldstadt (Old Town). There's a very authentic Chinese place called Grandma's kitchen just below the hotel. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. The whole experience was easy - just drop the keys in the box when you leave.

The hotel clearly hadn't been refurbished for a while so the shower enclosure etc was not in great condition but everything was very clean (no mold, fresh towels and sheets). If you like everything to be sparkling and new it might be a problem for you. For me, as long as it is clean a bit of limescale is not a problem. I prefer the furnishings are used until they are completely broken instead of thrown away after 6 months to give a 'like-new' appearance. More sustainable that way.
