This is a stunning aparthotel where every design function has been thought of to maximize space and utility. It is also the most well-equipped kitchen I have ever had in an aparthotel. They thought of basically everything. There were even scissors! The rooftop terrace is also beautiful, and design came in to play there as well with a very nice gender-neutral bathroom so you don't have to go all the way back downstairs to your room, and a vending machine full of snacks, canned cocktails, and beer.

The only downfall was the strange elevator. I was on floor 3, and often wanted to take the elevator up to 5 to go to the rooftop terrace. However, at least 50% of the time, despite pressing floor 5 and having it light up and everything, I would find myself traveling down to the ground floor to pick someone up before moving back in an upward direction. It's also a pity that they don't have a service elevator, because a lot of the time the downward travel was to pick up someone from housekeeping with a massive cart. It really took away from what was otherwise a very elegant hotel.

Location is fantastic just 2 minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes on the train to the city centre. It’s also on the direct line to the airport, which takes around 30 minutes. The apartment itself self was very comfortable, slightly unusual but clever use of space with a kitchenette, inc fridge, microwave and coffee machine (there are coffee capsules but no milk or sugar - there is a supermarket within minutes of the hotel) but all necessary utilises were provided. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a lovely walk in the shower. The bed is on a small mezzanine, ceiling height is limited but it’s a full sized bed and very comfortable. The design of the stairs takes a little getting use to. The staff were lovely. The member of staff that checked me in was fantastic (I wish I had got his name) he was so friendly, helpful and provided me with lots of information. It’s was a great property in a great location and I would certainly stay again!

The room was very well put together, small but clean and comfortable. The first room I got, was overlooking the street and the train station, so you could hear some noises during the night. Since it was a buisness trip, I requested to change the room, which I was able to for only 35€. I got a new room at the courtyard, which was super quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful all in all. There's also balcony on the very top, where you have a 360° view on the whole city.

The only thing, that was really missing, was salt and sugar in the rooms. Since its an apartment, it would make sense to have that in the kitchen by default. Otherwise I can't complain.

I prefer to stay in areas that are a little away from the city center, peaceful but no transportation problems. The location of this hotel met my expectations very well. Next to Altona station, one of the central metro stations, next to the markets. facing the park. The facilities of the room and kitchen were beyond my expectations. entering with card to the hotel. a large LCD with netflix. comfortable bed and pillow. Pillow and silence are very important criteria for me. The cleaning was extremely good, so that there were no fingerprints in the room and bathroom. I wish I had experienced terrace in a good weather.. sadly it was cold and rainy..

The atmosphere, the luxurious feel of the room and bathroom. It felt quite spacious because of the split level. We also got a free upgrade with a balcony. Maybe it was because the building was a bit vacant, but it was super quiet. Only some noise from the street outside if you had the window open. The roof terrace was a nice addition. Location was perfect, especially if you arrive by train. All other parts of Hamburg are easy to reach from here. The staff were also very nice! The stairs are something to get used to, but we didn't mind.

This is a novel style of accommodation, maybe not suiting all tastes but I was very impressed. The self-contained apartment had everything I needed, everything was new and of high quality in good condition. For the price it was really excellent value for money. The location is perfect, a short walk (1 minute !) from Bahnhof Altona. I also really liked the fact that there wasn't a dealing cleaning schedule by default.

I didn't find it a problem but the stairs up to the mezzanine with the bed are quite steep, maybe not friendly to older folks, but I had no problems (the photographs are accurate).

It was a great location for the train. It was clean and modern and I really liked the staff. From the first moment I got to the location, a lady helped me with my room. I had a medical challenge whilst their and a nice guy called Rudiger went above and beyond to connect me with a medical professional. They were all very helpful

Not much to dislike. The lift was a little slow and the steps in the apartment to the sleeping area were quite steep. It didn’t cause any challenge for me on either front

The room was comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. We had a balcony on the 5th floor, and just one more floor up was the rooftop terrace with a good view of the surroundings. Extremely convenient public transportation directly outside with Altona station. Late night check-in was not a problem.

The elevator was out of order which meant 5 floors of stairs to climb, but that's just unfortunate timing and it didn't really take anything away from a wonderful stay.

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff is very well trained and professionals.

when ever I am in Hamburg I stay in this hotel.This time the level of cleanness was less in the room. I checked in around 8 pm and found the bed sheets were not very clean and the floor was not cleaned properly then next day I asked them to change the have informed me they can not as the cleaning is weekly. I am asking the hotel management to look at this point and as this hotel really deserve to continue with high rate.

It was all quite new and very clean. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a kitchenette area and a coffee machine. We liked the roof terrace. There were vending machines where drinks and snacks could be purchased next to the roof terrace.
