The view of the Harbour from the apartment was spectacular! It was one of the reasons for choosing this location. I liked the neighbourhood, which isn’t in the centre of town but an area with traditional bars, and smart modern restaurants and bars offering all types of cuisine. There is a pathway behind the property which leads to higher level neighbourhood and a nearby park which has spectacular views of the harbour and docks area. The apartment had a large reception area with check-in (only open until 5pm) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and modern, the bathroom has a large bath and separate shower. There is a kitchenette and dining table and a spacious living room with desk. Plenty of space for two and an ideal workspace if required.

Reception is just until 17:00. If you're arriving later, please enjoy filling all your personal details once again on a public screen in front of the hotel. Also, if you're arriving by car, good luck figuring out how to get into the parking (spoiler: park temporarily on the streets, check-in using terminal at the front door, then use your room card to open the garage door). Oh, and if you're booking 2 rooms and one parking spot, only one random room card will be able to open the garage door. And don't bother reporting these issues to the staff, they don't seem to be interested.

The view, the bath tub, heated wooden floors, the bed was comfortable. There was an awesome system with a TV that could revolve on the wall and face the bedroom or the living room. This wall with the TV could also be pushed to the side to connect the bedroom to the living room and create an open space. There was also a small kitchen but fully equipped. The design of the flat was tasteful and looked high quality.

The blinds didn't close fully and some light came into the bedroom. The light switch in the bedroom also had a light of its own, making it so that the bedroom could not be fully dark.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the "Clipper Boardinghouse - Hamburg-Holzhafen" apartments, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The biggest benefits of this place are the spacious rooms, cozy atmosphere, and incredibly comfortable extra-big beds. But the icing on the cake has to be the stunning view of the harbor from the apartment – it's a sight to behold! The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. And as for location, it's perfectly situated for exploring the city. Many of Hamburg's attractions are within walking distance, and it's a great base for experiencing all that this wonderful city has to offer. In short, if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Hamburg, the "Clipper Boardinghouse - Hamburg-Holzhafen" apartments should be at the top of your list. I can't wait to return!

The location is good and the sea views from the window are wonderful. The house has a good and safe garage. The apartment was quite spacious, clean, modernly furnished and functional. On the other side of the street, right at the water's edge, there is a lively Italian-style restaurant. Good pizzas and pastas.

There is no breakfast available at this destination at all. Therefore, the reception could be expected to know the locations of nearby shops and cafes. Did not know. Furthermore, considering the price of the apartment, one could have assumed that the equipment included coffee beans for more than two cups.

Beautiful apartment by the Elbe river in the center of Hamburg. Fantastic views of the river and the city, also possible to reach them from a free to walk balcony. Equipped with everything we needed.

apartment needs to be powered by card so be sure to get more cards if you travel in group of more people. Floor was not so clean.

This was my second time lodging at this property. The place was smaller than the first time, but cozy none the less. However, this time I had more storage space in the kitchen. I really loved that.

My only criticism is the housekeeping didn’t clean the shower head as well. I hate calcium build up on the shower head.

Good location of the hotel (There is a bakery 5 minutes from the hotel) , very pretty view at the port

By departure, they charged us an extra fee for accomondation. When we asked, they told us, there was a mistake with the bill. Be carelful of that! When we checked-in they made fun of our names, which is according to me very unprofessional.

Great location, good transport links if needed, very clean, stunning apartment with all facilities. Bathroom is big and included a separate bath. Kitchen facilities are very useful. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again for definite.

Unfortunately the lift broke on day 2 and we were on the 5th floor....its just one of those things I guess.

Outside noise eventhough earplugs were provided. Out of hour check in process as okay but I had to try my surname in many different ways before it worked
