This hotel was well appointed and close to the Centre. The room was very comfortable and spacious with good amenities. The shower was excellent but hard to keep the water from going on the floor.

there was a parking building nearby. The 24 hour charge applies within one 24 hour day not across two days and so was more expensive than expected as we parked from 3pm one day until 9am the next day and this cost 2 days of 24 hour rate. The staff were helpful at checkin but less helpful to answer queries we had.

Easily walkable from the Main Train Station, rooms are small, but nice layout. Also had a small bench AND a luggage rack to put suitcases on. Surprisingly quiet on a busy downtown street, but we did not need to open windows. Hotel has AC do maybe not an issue even in summer?

Bathroom layout was unusual. but workable. The frosted GLASS bathroom door is just a bad idea. Lights up whole room if someone goes in the night. AND while not revealing, it's still TOO "intimate."

Location was really good, very close to the train station, you can easily find restaurants and grocery shops nearby. 15 mins walking distance from the shopping district of Mainz. Hotel amenities are quite clean, in good condition and functional. However, I found the room itself a bit smaller than expected...

Breakfast wasn't included although the rate was quite decent, late check-out request was accepted only with extra payment.

Very good staff at the reception desk. Good value, modern hotel. Smart looking interiors in lobby and bar. Room was fine and as described. It is easy to walk to the historic centre of the city, for example, if you go via Neubrunnenstrasse and Lotherstrasse, including through the Romerpassage shopping centre which has a Roman shrine underneath, which can be visited. There are interesting bars, cafes and restaurants along that way to the centre, with Mainz folk sitting out and enjoying themselves in hot weather. The hotel is very near the train station (walkable if you are fit enough to trundle your suitcase). As some reviews have stated, some streets near the station have a 'big city' feel to them, but we did not experiences any hassles in them.

The entire experience in this hotel was extremely efficient. The staff were lovely and extremely competent. The entire hotel and the room were really clean, which I sincerely appreciated. The rooms looked new and spotless and had all the necessary amenities. If we return to Mainz we will be staying here again.

The rooms could do with a few more extra pillows, but that is a very minor thing.

Lady at the reception was very helpful and helped us park our Motorbikes in one of the lower room in the hotel(service area) so they were very safe. Room was very clean and we had a small balcony overlooking the park area. Easy to walk into the old town area , where there are lots of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was also very nice in the morning although a little crowded. From the outside the hotel doesn't look that great , but the refurbishment inside is lovely. Hairdryer in the room and also Iron available from reception.

Apart from the check in , the staff were very un interested, there was a bar just off reception and trying to get a drink was almost impossible unless you caught them serving someone else. The low lighting in the rooms were not ideal if you wanted to apply make up etc.

Recently renovated spacious hotel room, great shower, comfy bed. We could check in early which was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Parking possible in parking garage around the corner. Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood, sightseeing takes only a short walk to both the center as to the riverside.

Comfy bed, pretty good pillows, well-equipped bathroom, kettle (but nowhere to keep milk cold), fairly quiet even with window open, excellent breakfast with very wide range of choices, friendly and helpful staff.

Nowhere to keep milk cold overnight (for tea in the morning) - just needs a mini-fridge! Otherwise great :)

What we didn’t like was the Centralized air conditioning. Lowest temp that can be set in our room was 20 celsius but the room is too warm 😑🥵. This was our first time in the hotel. It won’t hurt to try another room the next time we visit Mainz. The staff are amazing though. Overall a good experience ☺️

excellent location. convenient. comfortable clean room. lovely decor. nice seating area at reception. able to store bags for the day of discharge.

would have been great to have a fridge in the room but its not absolutely necessary
