Breakfast was essential and tasty. The room was clean and had enough space to move around and store my large luggage. The staff were kind despite the fact I could not speak in German so it was difficult to communicate.

The hotel is a bit far from the city centre so it was necessary to use a taxi to come and go. In the surrounding at night there are very few places to eat properly or even just grab a bite. Because of the luggage I would have preferred not to climb the stairs to reach the second floor...

Beautiful location, from which it takes about 20min with the bus to the main station. Quality for the price was excellent, and everything was clean. The Breakfast tasted good, and as far as i could tell it all seemed fresh.

The shower didn't have a curtain or "wall" so water would splash a bit into the bathroom, not a lot if you pay attention to it, but can't be avoided that a few drop wil land on the floor.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Simple yet excellent breakfast with a good variety. Location was also great to have some quiet time whilst still being close from the Messe. Convenient in terms of shops and restaurants too.

A nice guesthouse with quick access to the highways that take you to Essen, Dortmund, Dusseldorf in half an hour to an hour... Excellent breakfast, secured parking.

The bed is quite uncomfortable - an old broken mattress.

Everything was super, the location near Essen trade fair, the rooms, the breakfast, the quiete place.

Bus stop (bus to train station/city center) and little kiosk (beer on sale too)just 50m from hotel entrance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Cleaning is good and room is tidy. Breakfast is also good. The area is quiet, slept well.

A shower curtain should be added to avoid flooding the bathroom.

A friendly team in a somewhat dated building. A good breakfast. Location with easy access to the Messe Essen, actually walking distance with approx 30min - good when taxis are difficult to get in the morning.

The bathroom was in 80ies original state. (Light) Sound from the inactive radiator.

Breakfast, location, friendly staff, dogs are welcome. I was there with my 3 dogs. No extra charge for car park.
