1) Extremely friendly breakfast staff – they even helped me get some leftover bread to feed the ducks, which was a lovely touch. 2) Wide variety of breakfast options – very high quality. 3) Convenient location close to the old town. 4) Nice surprise to find decaf coffee capsules in the room. 5) Higher-category rooms are worth it – they include slippers, a bathrobe, and even a trouser press, unlike the basic rooms.

1) The hotel is right next to the train station, and the noise from passing trains is noticeable at night, affecting sleep quality. 2) My room’s iron had a damaged surface, making it impossible to iron white clothes, and I couldn’t reach housekeeping on Saturday morning.

Hotel Leonardo Royal is located an easy walk from the main Nurnberg railway station and close to the historic centre. Leisure travellers seem to be in minority as the hotel is heaving with busy guests of working age . Our room was on the corner overlooking multilevel car park and the platforms and was well appointed and comfortable . Breakfast spread was superb and worth every penny and I planned to enjoy it but unfortunately my own food intolerance forced me to opt out and have a Kuchen and tea else were. To save oneself being accosted at breakfast to pay straight away and delay the incoming stream of guests, I recommend to book in advance; although I was told by the receptionist that the cost would be added to the room bill as he asked for my credit card details on check in.

I appreciated the excellent central location, the modern and very clean rooms, and the staff who were friendly and efficient — just as many guests have mentioned: “Great location, very close to Old Town, modern clean rooms, friendly staff.” However, I was disappointed with how the payment was handled: the full amount was charged to my card at the time of booking, and then, upon arrival, I was charged again at the reception. I was told that I would receive the refund within a week, but I don’t find this to be a very fair policy, especially since the double transaction caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. It’s an uncomfortable experience, particularly for a hotel known for good service. I hope the refund process will be completed quickly and without further issues.

Excellent location, next to main station and a few minutes walk to the main centre. Spacious room with lots of seating options. Despite overlooking the central station, you couldn’t hear the trains at all.

We stayed in the junior suite which was lovely. However the lighting options were minimal, for instance you couldn’t really zone the main lighting to get the beautiful teal LED lighting only. At the foot of the bed nestles a tv framed into a unit. The back of that unit could have a mirror so you could sit to do your make up at as the mirror placed above the desk is too awkward to get to. Not a fan of the universal washing liquid - supposed to use this on hair body and face. No conditioner either. One robe for 2 guests. For the price of the room it’s the little touches that were missing to elevate it to a ‘suite’ experience. Despite these, would recommend for short stays.

The hotel was conveniently located on the main street, just two buildings away from Nuremberg Hbf, which made getting around very easy. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Emanuel Anthony at the front desk, who made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast was impressive, with a wide variety of options—we were spoilt for choice!

The rooms were of a decent size, though not particularly spacious. However, the attitude of the chef in the restaurant could be more customer-friendly, which slightly impacted the overall dining experience.

The hotel is located perfectly close both to the train station and to the old town. Rooms are well designed, beds are comfy and even though the railway is right in front of (some) windows, it's still quiet inside the rooms. The restaurant is quite good as well, can totally recommend.

The parking is a bit confusing. They do have their own underground garage, but it seems that it's easier to use a parking garage of the train station. However, in this case there's no direct way to the hotel itself (it's still not too far, just may be inconvenient in rainy weather).

1) Good location - walk distance from the train station and the Old town; 2) The room was clean and quiet; 3) +tip for long hair - if you have long hair (straight) you won't need an additional conditioner. Just shampoo is enough even if you have dry ends.

1) In our room, the bedroom and the bathroom were separated with a glass door, so keep in mind if you are travelling with a person that is not that close to you; 2) This is not regarding the room, but the area in general: we travelled with a dog, and our dog likes to do his business on green surfaces XD, but there were barely any around the hotel area.

It is walking distance from the bus station and train station. It is also in the city center to walk to the tourist attraction.

The only thing that I am curious is that this hotel is not providing a kettle. I cannot boil hot water inside the room. I told the front office but the staff said that no kettle is provided in the room. Is this a practice? I stayed in other hotel in Mannheim and provided a kettle inside the room that I can boil hot water. Other than this, the property is perfect.

Location near the train station was very convenient. We asked for a quiet room and were given one overlooking a pleasant courtyard in the back - absolutely perfect. The desk person who checked us in was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was lavish and delicious.

Arriving at the hotel is a strange experience- various doors around the perimeter of the building were locked and there is no clear entry signage or design. You just have to keep trying doors until you find the right one. Breakfast, although very good, was also very expensive.

It was clean, the big double bed was comfy (the two singles ones in the room I switched were not!) & the best thing about my stay was that I was able to sleep really well. It was quiet & comfy enough. Every interaction with their staff was great (and I had a few) - they were very polite and customer-centric. I had to switch rooms and they did everything for me to feel good. The location was spot on - you go out of the subway, a few steps and you are in the hotel. The airport is in 16 minutes distance with the train & the central railway station is just at the back of the hotel. Everything (almost) you could want to do as a tourist was on 10-15 minutes walk, which I loved the most about the hotel's location.

If I have to be nit-picky: the only way you can close the door of the room is if you basically almost slam it. So you could clearly hear when someone near you gets in/out of their room (as well when you do too), which can create a unnecessary noise, which indeed could wake you up if you are light sleeper. As a 4 star hotel, they could ensure every guest has a disposable slippers, which I think is must to have. The AC is hard to navigate, as even on 24-25 degrees, I could feel a cold air coming in.
