I booked a simple room with shared bathroom and toilet. The part of the building is very old and the room was really simple and almost 'spartan', but it was excellent value for money. Impeccably clean, a cool room with just a little bit of noise coming from the pubs and excellent central location. The breakfast buffet is excellent - they offer to make scrambled egg for you.

It was basic, but I expected that. It was a bit odd that we were told to leave our towels on the floor, if we wanted them changed (which I did after three nights) but then they were just put back on the towel rack. There also was no description how to escape in case of a fire.

I spent the weekend after a conference with a friend, treating myself to a room upgrade. The en-suite rooms are located in the pretty part of the building and are modern, clean and spacious rooms with all the amenities. They gave way to the lovely garden and kept cool during a couple of very hot days. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, especially the people serving at breakfast. The breakfast buffet is a dream, quality before quantity yet with great choice and you can have scrambled eggs to be done to order. I enjoyed the little garden.

There was a tripping hazard near the juice station. Juice could be fresh. We had trouble locking the main door from inside after coming home.

The breakfast is very lovely with delicious saffron bread, fish pancakes, etc. I only stayed one night, so I had only a chance to try 1 set of breakfast, but I could imagine that they prepare different things everyday as they really give effort in preparing the meals. The location is perfect walking distance within the important sites and i like that I can just leave the car safely in the parking. I stayed in the shared accommodations and I didn't have any problems. Nobody shared the apartment with me. I checked in late and there was no problem to get the keys - they provide a code to open the box.

Breakfast was delicious - Bircher and fresh fruit, eggs (you have to ask), and a LOVELY range of savoury meat/fish/veggie/cream cheese options. If you want a croissant you have to get in early, but the bread rolls were freah, tasty and plentiful. Juice, tea and coffee a bit basic but all in all, a really great breakfast on offer! It's right next to the old town - location couldn't be better, and parking is on site (for €10 per day). Everything was kept spotlessly clean, including the shared shower/loo. Would definitely stay there again.

Although the room was lovely and quiet, the door locks (of which there are many) are quite loud and echoey so you and other guests can't help making quite a lot of noise at the start and end of the day when locking, unlocking and opening bedroom and entrance doors. It's a minor thing though.

The room was basic but had everything I needed, including a sink. The communal bathroom facilities were clean and I never had to wait. The breakfast was good. The location is within an easy walk from the train station and the old town. It's only a couple of minutes walk from the river. I would stay there again.

I struggled to find the entrance, but that was more my problem with following Google maps directions and not looking at the map properly myself than a problem with the property.

The location near the Danube. Handy for the sights and close to shopping amenities, and ten minutes' walk from the Hauptbahnhof. I also appreciated the self catering facilities and the breakfast was copious if not exactly to my specifications ( an abundance of meats and cheese doesn't float my boat as a vegan). The staff seemed kind and pleasant.

The lack of a fridge in the room but I did use the communal fridge in the kitchen to chill a beer. Also, I would've preferred an en suite bathroom.

Very good value for money, great location and great breakfast! Although for some people this accommodation may seem a bit basic as there are shared facilities for three rooms, we never clashed with anyone else, the place was quiet and everyone respected each other's privacy. Facilities were super-clean and breakfast was amazing. Would recommend to others.

Our room faced the street which was a bit noisy in the night with drunk people from the pub just opposite our accommodation, but that's nothing the guesthouse can do with.

The rooms are simple but fine and clean. They have a sink, the bathroom with a toilet and a separate shower is shared with two other single rooms. The breakfast was very good, one could ask for freshly made scrambled eggs, there was a station to make fresh orange or apple juice and the variety of bread, cheese, simple salads and sweet breakfast food was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. I arrived late and they wrote to me and called me to explain how to get the key.

I basically liked everything. The walls are thin, so if your neighbor is loud, it potentially could become annoying. The interior is a little dated, but that is fine, since this is not a hotel.

Location was perfect for my needs. Also it was very pleasant to have a view of Danube from the room window. It was also good to have two exits at opposite sides of the building so that each one could be used depending of the needed direction.

There was no hair dryer in the room. The shower cabine didn't close well so the flow in the bathroom and in the corridor was full of water. The breakfast is quite poor.

Excellent location, just a few steps to the Old Town. Clean rooms, sparsely furnished but completely adequate with desk and internet. Very calm atmosphere and quiet, no city or car noise. Super friendly staff.

I thought my 2nd floor room got quite warm in the afternoon sun and even with the windows wide open I could not get it cooled down. A quiet oscillating floor fan would have been nice.
