It's a nice location, close to the main dome. The hotel building is an old one (medieval style), consisting in only 5-6 rooms (the most), which makes it a quiet place. The access via code was easy, we enjoyed the little treats that were placed in the room for us. Also appreciated the little coffee machine, water & juices available. Being situated into an old building, the ceiling is not very high so be aware that you might feel like 'Gulliver in the country of dwarfs' :) However this was not an inconvenient for us, we found it quite interesting.
The chandelier hanged above the bed makes it a bit uncomfortable, so maybe replacing it with a smaller one or a pendant light would be a better option. Be aware that if you are not driving a German car (personal or rented), you won't be able to park in the hotel area (nor on street, neither on dedicated garages) as you need a green pass to be able to enter in the old city area (or you risk a quite high penalty fee). For the 'outsiders' the parkings available are at a 15-20 min walking distance (outside of the old city area) and this was a real inconvenient especially when you're during a holiday and carry a lot of luggages with you. Moreover the hotel is advertised with a parking option 'available on the street' which is not 100% accurate.

Our "Luft/Air" apartment was located just in the heart of the historic centre, on the 2nd floor of a beautiful small medieval hotel (although there is no lift due to the age of the building, it's not much hard to get the luggage upstairs, the stairs are wide and safe). Car parking right next to the hotel was great. The reception is held in the neighbour Rinaldi café, with a very sympathetic and supporting bartender. The apartment is absolutely stunning, modern, in style, nicely equipped with coffee/tea/juice/mineral water, and with very comfortable beds. We were really satisfied there, can fully recommend!

Very beautiful, cozy, authentic room located in a beautiful location. It was very clean and comfortable.
Mr. Rinaldi was very unfriendly and even rude. This spoiled the impression a little. Also in the evening there was no hot water in the shower. The heaters stopped working at night, so we were very cold at night, and our child got sick. Having paid decent money for a luxury room, you expect a certain level of service, as well as a good attitude.

Everything ....very large room, an extra sitting room, good bed, pillows, comforters. Water, juices, tea, coffee in room. Bathroom clean and spacious. Host stored our luggage after we arrived but before we could check in. And again the next day after checkout but before our river cruise left.
Shower very slippery. Needs a mat or stickers on shower floor.

Tasteful decoration in all rooms Each one is different, we stayed in the one that has a full jacuzzi bathtub fitting two people!!! Since we travelled during the heat wave in August the air conditioning was a blessing. Not standard in any of thw hotels and the older buildings. Highly recommend. The location is ideal and the city itself is amazing.

We had an overnight stay, room is very large and spacious. For us personally this was not a hotel, key collection is next door at a cafe and there are only 4 suites. Stairs to the rooms, so be mindful if you have heavy luggage. The doorways in room very low. The location is central with cathedral nearby.

Wonderful location. Loved the spacious suite and the feeling of being a “local”! Caffe Rinaldi next door was convenient for a delicious breakfast (or other meal). Spotlessly clean. Nespresso machine and tea kettle with selection of teas. Also juice provided was a nice touch for cold mornings. Perfect location in a quieter area just steps from the Christmas market and historical sites. Check in easy and quick. Felt very secure in a nice area for walking after dark. Easy stroll from train station (< 10 minutes). Highly recommend!
This was NOT an issue for us, but being in the Fire Suite on the 3rd floor meant 51 steps to our suite. It helped us justify all the yummy pastries! Also, for taller guests, the overhead clearance was a bit short for 6’4” man in some areas. But again, this did not cause any problems to our delightful stay.

The bed!! I slept so well. The gentleman we got our keys from was so friendly. The rooms were amazing.
Parking! However, I knew up front it might be a problem and from living in Germany before, I was not surprised. That said, I would still stay here.

First of all, the location is excellent. The cathedral is on your doorstep and the river and stone bridge are only a few minutes' walk away. There was parking right in front of the hotel and it was free on weekends, which was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with free soft drinks.

Great location once you obtain the green sticker for the restricted area. Cathedral is right next door, also great restaurant right opposite the street. the building is beautiful, historic. Very confortable beds, nicely designed interior. We loved it!
The location of the Umwelzone was not clear to us. however -with the help of the host- we managed to get the green sticker in no time from TÜV
