Great sound cancelling as advertised - there are restaurants just below, and with closed windows you can't hear a thing. The bed was comfortable, just the right combination of soft and rigid, and there were pillows in different shapes to choose from, very thoughtful for Germany. The staff speaks good English and is helpful - it is important because of the somewhat confusing building structure. Everything you need is within walking distance, too.

The room did get stuffy during the day, I recommend keeping the window open at night (doesn't do much at day) and using the provided fan otherwise. The lights were pretty dim, too, you'd need to turn everything on to have, say, a proper video call.

The hotel location could not be better! The street itself is historic and everywhere we went there were delightful Cafés and restaurants, lots of people of all ages having a great time. The city has a very Italian vibe and the vast majority of buildings were NOT destroyed in WWII. Our hotel offered an excellent breakfast buffet at an extra charge, well worth the price.

The bed and the pillows! We woke up every morning with seriously aching backs. It's time for the owners to try sleeping in the rooms! The mattresses and pillows really need replacing!

Fantastic location, with friendly, proactive, very helpful staff. The room was scrupulously clean, stylish and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent (with really good coffee - a rarity in hotel breakfasts!) and everyone/everything seemed primed to give guests the smoothest possible experience. I'll definitely try to stay here again on my next visit to Regensburg.

Really only tiny, minor things that I observe in most hotels - sharing here as feedback for the team rather than as criticism. A couple of things I'd love to find in the room: full-size water glasses instead of small ones, a shelf or counter surface large enough for makeup/toiletry bags in the bathroom, and extra-large towels or bath sheets rather than standard size would take this already excellent hotel to the next level of comfort, in my opinion.

Absolutely everything was far beyond our expectations at this hotel and we will definitely return and recommend it to anyone and everyone who goes to Regensburg! Our room was very spacious and beautiful. The bed and bedding was fantastic -- I hope to find the brand when I get back to the US but I don't know if it is possible. The breakfast was also fantastic. The staff was all so wonderful. The price was also very very reasonable for the quality of what we received.

Absolutely nothing! Except possibly for smoking laws to change in Germany so that smoking is not allowed for outdoor dining as well as indoor like in the US. The smoking takes away from the wonderful pleasure of eating outside. But that is not the hotel's issue!!

Location immediately off the Donau bike trail . Good secure bike storage in center courtyard .Very close to city center with many shops and restaurants . Refrigerator in room . Reception was very friendly and pleasant . Upgraded room #404 was very clean , had A/C and nice modern bathroom . Toiletries in bathroom . Breakfast was good - certainly not exceptional but more than adequate.

Elevator to upper floors only went up to the 3rd floor and our room on 4th thus schlepping bike bags and trailer was a bit uncomfortable after an 85km. ride . Other room that we previewed had one window with a view of the wall about 2meters across the way . Our room had a high window with a view of the rooftops and the street down below .

The location is excellent, The hotel is an old building in the old town area of Regensburg and has been converted very sympathetically. The breakfast was very good. The room was very large and very well equipped. I know where I'm going to stay next time I'm in Regensbrug

I really enjoyed my stay at Der Patrizier. It's in the beautiful area, the room was spacious, clean, and you can enjoy tea or coffee all day. The breakfast had a lot of options and the coffee is delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. Overall a very positive experience.

Excellent service and breakfast with salmon and quality Italian snacks, very clean, cosy and well arranged room, nice bed, bedding and pillows, good fridge, bathroom, lighting (six different lamps in a room) and a/c, free coffee and tea, beautiful old house carefully restored. Great location in the heart of the old city. It is rare to find a hotel with so perfect room planning and design. Also great value for money. Greetings to the owners, they did a very good job.

The only minor detail – no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo etc, everything else is perfect.

The receptionist was nice and polite. The room was clean and well-equipped (towels, soap, shower gel...). Wi-fi is free. The room is very quiet and there's a place to make yourself a coffee or a tea in the hallway, which is nice to have.

The room was weirdly located inside of the hotel. It is too complicated to get there (too many stairs to pass with the luggage) and I expected a better view from the window.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in the Old Town of Regensburg and was thoroughly satisfied. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed and exudes a charming atmosphere. The cleanliness of the premises was impeccable, making my stay particularly enjoyable. The highlight was the delicious breakfast served every morning. A diverse selection of food and beverages left nothing to be desired and provided a perfect start to the day. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel and will gladly return.
