A charming hotel with a French-leaning flair, with art, posters, and decorations (photo) in the style of a French bistrot parachuted in the center of a ancient Bavarian town. The restaurant is also a mix of French and Bavarian style and decor, and food is very good, for decent prices (photo). Breakfast was included, served at the table, with a vast palette of choices (photo). My room was large, with a curtain bed, and aging but charming chair and settee (photo from a collection in the lobby). Location is excellent, smack in the center of Regensburg, 4 mins from the Danube stone bridge as well as from the Dome, and even closer to the Rathaus (photo). A pleasant stay and high quality/price ratio.

At some point, to see decor, posters and art in other floors, I tried to use the stairs but could not find them. Thought this was curious, but I am sure Bavarian fireguard engineers know what they are doing.

The first room was freezing cold but they provided a little fun heater and changed the room to a better one next day. Bigger and warmer. The staff are very kind and attentive. The building is old but it is set up easily for handicapped people with small ramps and elevator. Breakfast is very delicious, don't miss croissants. But dinner time is very busy even on Monday night. Better make a reservation. The location is excellent. Easy to access most sightseeing spots.

We stayed 3 nights, but the first night had no heating. They were fully booked so they couldn't change the room. That's understandable because it was the first Saturday of November. But my travel companion is handicapped so he had severe pain in his legs. Shower is not comfortable for a handicapped but it was fine for me. Also, they have no safety box and fridge in the rooms. If you need to store medicines cold, that's a problem.

The location is perfect, the price is affordable, the room was clean and the staff amazing. Love the little cokolates they left in the room after cleaning.

The room was a bit cold and i didnt figure out how to turn the heat in the room up! But it was bearable.

We love this place and stay regularly. Very French - you won’t find better in France 😉 Impressive rooms with beautiful old furniture and wooden floors. Welcome complimentary house wine. Apero/coffee and dinner in the bistro is a must as well. Great breakfast served at the table.

Food very good, but not much to eat if you can’t take bread or sweet stuff. I would have appreciated more eggs and bacon. Coffee excellent.

At breakfast, sometimes staff seemed quite unfriendly and I had to ask repeatedly for basic items, milk, butter etc. brought with less than good grace. Waited 20 minutes for coffee on one occasion.

Location good but did not realise there were 3 Hotel Orphee s but fortunately we found the right one. Google maps became confusing though until we realised there were three.

the power points were on floor level which made it more difficult to use by people who are not so fit

This was in such a great location. We didn't drive up to it but walked with our luggage from main street, a bit of a stroll in the rain. When we had a car pick us up it was from the front door though. Rooms were wonderful and such a great feeling and very nice of them to leave small bottle of wine and snacks. The rooms did not smell of cigarettes but coming in there were a lot of smokers out front that did get pulled in to the hotel a little. Wonderful little french restaurant for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone going to Regensburg. Loved it!

Hotel Lobby a little smoky.

Boutique, individual, arty, touch bohemian elegant charm, laid back understated but efficient relaxed atmosphere, great feel, great atmosphere. So much better than bland hotel chains

Some noise early morning 5.39am staff talking rather loudly filtering up to our window.

This hotel and its restaurant are modeled after French hotels and restaurants and they do a great job of modeling that at a much lower price point. There's a limited amount of things to do in Regensberg but this hotel is attractive enough to warrant a two-night stay.

Hidden gem in the heart of Regnesburg. The bed was heavenly and soft with big poofy duvets! a luxurious tub waited for me. the absolute charm of this place. it’s a must. I’ll stay again I loved it here. delicious breakfast as well.

There’s not much to put here but worth a mention that I saw some complaints about the noise and it’s worth noting that this building is very old and is in the heart of an old city that requires upkeep. bring your ear plugs and snuggle In because it’s fine.
