A nice hotel in a great location, close to the train station and central to the old town. Large room with modern facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early but were able to get into our room before the normal check in time. The e bikes hire was excellent value and the bikes were good - we did a pleasant tour out to the Valhalla. Breakfast was ample with lots of choices.

We would only suggest it would be nice to be able to make a cup of tea to have in the room in the evening. The very kind gentleman at reception helped us by boiling water for us and finding some mugs in the kitchen. But we would be happy to do it ourselves if we had access to the some basic facilities.

The central location in the mall was fabulous. We even managed to walk it, lugging our cases from the train station. The room was exceptional, with a slanting ceiling and plenty of space. The bathroom was very nice too - not too small. A nice touch, being December, was the urn of mulled wine in the foyer every afternoon, which I enjoyed. The chocolate pretzels and other biscuits accompanying the wine, were also well received. Staff were always very friendly as we passed through the reception, although we were never in need for anything during our stay.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 2 days to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel's location is great and it's beautiful, but the highlight for us was the staff! They were so attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate us. When I asked a chef at breakfast if there were bananas in the smoothies because I am allergic to them, she made me a new smoothie without bananas without me even asking for it. The next morning at breakfast, she had prepared all the smoothie options without bananas because of me. Another nice moment was when I asked where I could get two AA batteries for an Instax camera, they went and got them for me! Just lovely! The food was EXTRAORDINARY! The 6-course dinner on our first evening made me want to lick my plate after the main course and dessert. The sauna and rest area are also gorgeous and very comfortable. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and if we can afford it, we'll definitely come again!

If I had to give the tiniest criticism, I would say that I would have loved to have access to a steam room, not only saunas, and I would have loved some small plates or bowls to put the dried fruit on that was constantly available to us, as putting them on the provided napkins resulted in a bit of a mess more than once.

The location was perfect for our trip , 5min walk to the train station and 10min walk to the river and you can pass the cathedral on your way. Check in was a breeze and we were offered a complementary bottle of beer which was lovely as it was very hot that day . The room I stayed in had a courtyard view , it was a good size with a comfortable bed and a small bathroom . My friends stayed at the front of the hotel and mentioned there was a bit of street noise at night , they did have the windows open as it was hot though .The breakfast was varied and tasty continental style . Some of our group went to the local bakeries around the town for breakfast which they found suited them better . Yes we would stay here again as it suited all of our needs .

As the weather was a vey warm 32c air conditioning in the room would have been a bonus , but we all knew we booked a hotel without A/C so not this is not a complaint . The windows opened fine .

Everything was perfect--proximity to the train station and Regensburg Old town, very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Kathy, and her team were fantastic hosts. We highly recommend Hotel Weidenhof, and will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to visit Regensburg.

No small fridge, inefficient or non existent air conditioning, very few English speaking TV channels (only news), old fashioned door lock keys w hotel’s name & room number (potential problem if lost outside)

Nice hotel close to the station with helpful staff. Room was fairly small with basic facilities - but in line with expectations. Small bathroom but with a good shower. The breakfast was excellent.

Nothing to complain about - my room wasn't luxurious but I wasn't expecting more given the price.

Everything was really good and comfortable. The family room was very cute, and my son was happy with the toys. The staff was kind and responsible.

The only thing that could be improved is having elementary amenities, such as a fridge, a toothbrush, or slippers. Otherwise, everything was good.

Level, smooth walk less than 10minutes from train and most sites of importance. Husband and wife owner/operaters were actively working to make sure that all guests and staff were well looked after. Large, comfortable room with super bathroom

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice but the option of some hot dishes would have made it perfect.

Perfect location close to the touristical downtown. Nice staff, comfortable room. A great indian restaurant beside the entrance open till 23h.

Parking is in a neighbouring parking house, but it is only 3 minutes walk, and the hotel provides discount from the fee.
