The general aspect of the hotel

I have been told by one employee at my arrival that I wouldn't have to pay for the parking buy I actually had to pay because I was apparently parked at the Casino parking, which wasn't obvious at all when I arrived! I clearly mentioned to that employee that I was parked there buy she definitely said I would stay there at that the barrier would open automatically when I would be leaving without asking me to pay... so I lost a lot of time at my departure to go to pay to the casino...! I think it's not clear enough

Lovely hotel - large, spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, lovely balcony overlooking the lake and park. Lovely bathroom. Helpful staff, lovely bar. In short, a superb place to stay.

We could have done with a fan in the room. And the geese are noisy in the morning, but that's not the hotel's fault!

Sekt at breakfast very nice. Looked for nuts and seeds. Didn't find them, but not important. Good coffee, cooked products and bread. Relaxed atmosphere. Very pleasant experience.

The dinner was extremely slow. Apparently 3 people were ill in the kitchen, and couldn't be replaced. We have experienced this in several hotels and restaurants recently. It seems to be a growing problem. We have eaten here before, and the service was always good. We were offered am free glass of wine each, which we gratefully accepted!

Excellent breakfast. Rooms are very quiet and the location is really nice right next to a park. Comfy bed and nice pillows. You can dim the room with good darkening curtains and the park view is really nice.

The location is a bit remote so there's really only the park and it's geese to keep company. If you need to get groceries - there's a bit of a walk to the nearest store. If you want to go to Saarbrücken city centre - you'll need to take a taxi or a bus.

Lovely terasse for supper, with simple, traditional , great food. Waiters were very friendly and well trained. The staff upgraded our room at a fair cost to access air conditioning during the hot weather.

All very good. On all of my previous visits, over recent years, the staff, hotel and food has been excellent and dog friendly.

Great size luxurious room, double bed and good quality sheets. Great extras such as complimentary water, L'occitane toiletries, free parking outside or secure underhotel paid parking. Wellness spa area. Staff at checkin desk at 11pm.

We had a front facing room and there was some noise from train and road. Earplugs provided. Thick luxurious curtains helped and we were able to have large windows open during the warm night.

Such a warm welcome !! And immediately help to charge my car while all chargers where occupied they allowed me to use the hotel limousine charger. Very nice of them!

All was nice and very clean. A minibar or a water kettle to make a cup of coffee or tee would make it perfect.

Wonderful Park Suite: large, beautiful, comfortable, quiet, nice view onto the park with a brook under the windows... Quick room service and good food. Easy parking. We'll be back.

For room service, copies of the menus in the suite would have been very helpful, as menus seem to vary on Sunday night or at lunch.

Smart , traditional hotel with lots of marble floors and bathrooms. Helpful staff managed to fit us onto their spacious terasse for a tasty and enjoyable supper outside. Dog friendly. Plentiful parking under or next to the hotel.

Worthwhile booking a restaurant table for evening meals, otherwise a bit of a walk or a drive to a pizza restaurant fairly near or into town for food.

This place has become through years a landmark, a haven of peace. Friendly staff, everything is enjoyable, The restaurant brasserie is exceptional, you are always served cordially and in style. The rooms have warm atmosphere, overall I would say it is one of the best addresses I know as a professional on the road.
