The room was spacious and modern. It was also clean. There was a nice balcony. The breakfast was wonderful and very generous. There is ample parking space. The price was reasonable and cancellation option available until 2pm the same day.

We had dinner in the restaurant. It was overpriced and not really that good. We paid 120 euros for four people, one dish each, only soft drinks. The dishes looked nothing special (Schnitzel and French fries mostly), so really nothing to explain the price tag. The options on the menu were too "fancy" and expensive for a simple night stop hotel. Even the green salad had rice in it for unknown reasons. They would do better to refocus on simple local dishes at a reasonable price.

No tea/coffee making facilities. The restaurant is a 2 min walk away [through the carpark]. The option of a morning coffee would have been appreciated. A big bus parked right outside our window, blocking light and the chance of any view. There were other parking options, it should not have been permitted.

Bedroom was really nice and comfortable. Easy to find in a village not far from autobahn. But the best was the food. The breakfast was ama-zing!. So much choice - breads, meats, fish, pastries, fruit, cereals. Coffee was good too and you could eat as much as you want. Staff kept on filling the self -service dishes, so you could keep on going. Enough to fill you up for the day. Evening meal was delicious (wiener schnitzel was the best) and what was really good was that the beer was brewed in Freiburg (a few kilometers away) and the wine was from just outside the village. We loved the local aspect of the place. Food was a little on the expensive side though.

The beer garden was great but we didn't like the fact that a couple of people smoked at the table next to us whilst we were eating. Surely this could be banned as it seemed so outdated (and unpleasant for the majority of people) that people can still do this today. Would have been a 10/10 but this reduces it to a 8/10.

The room was spacious, clean and satisfied all our requirements including free parking and breakfast being included. We had a balcony overlooking a garden/ carpark which was a nice place to unwind over a cold beer or wine. A walk up the road was a good coffee shop serving excellent cakes of a large portion and a winery where you could purchase unbottle or bottled wine at a good price. The hotel/guesthouse is only eight minutes drive from Freiburg. Breakfast was of a superlative standard and dinner was large portioned. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic 4-night holiday. The proximity to Freiburg and the convenient location allowed us to explore the area easily. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was excellent, offering delicious meals at reasonable prices and we also enjoyed our breakfast every morning 5 stars !!! Our kids loved the playground, which provided a nice pre-dinner activity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time.

Our room overlooked the parking area, while the first-floor rooms provided views of both the parking lot and a balcony adjacent to the parking space. Unfortunately, this arrangement wasn't very comfortable for us because we saw the people who parked there.

The room was beautiful, with a balcony that had chairs and a small table. We enjoyed it very much, especially since we smoke. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately, the breakfast ended at 10 a.m. - similar to most hotels - but the check-out was also at 10 a.m. A later check-out - 11 a.m.? - would have been much more comfortable.

The breakfast was perfect, and the restaurant was friendly and clean. The rooms and the entire hotel were spotless and in good order. The staff's behavior was professional and friendly.

There needed to be more food variety. Rooms 8, 9, and 10 needed a better location and were like castles. I couldn't charge my car with the EV charger. The procedure was very complex, and no one at the hotel couldn't help me.

The main highligt is the restaurant - quite crowdy and serving great meals. The staff was wonderful - we came just after the kitchen was closed, but we still could order some meals and the staff was very helpful (it was the asparagus season, delicious!). The room was quiet, very clean, the beds were comfy. Very diverse breakfast with a lot of local delicacies (cheese, cold cuts, vegetables). Definitely a place worth spending the night.

Great location for a stopover on a longer journey of doe hikes in the forest. Nice breakfast, parking spaces and family rooms

The rooms don’t have AC and in the summer season it can be quit warm inside, even with all windows open. The window/terras doors could use protection against mosquitos.

The hotel and location are very cute, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing (special plus for salmon and freshly made omelette), the room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. I will definitely go there again if I return to this area.
