It was a lovely location in the forest. The room was a good size & bed was comfortable. We had a terrace which was great as the other rooms didn’t have a balcony. There was a mosquito screen which is needed as there are a lot! Access to the therm was a bonus, it was great fun! Parking was free which was great.

The bathroom was a wet room which made the floor slippery after a shower. It was annoying having to go to reception every time we wanted to use the therm. It would be good to have an entry wrist band that lasted the whole stay. The clean towels & robe were great though.

The resort was close enough to Freiberg and yet had a very rural feeling. Our suite, room 500, was huge with a beautiful sitting area, access to a balcony and very quiet. The breakast was very good with plenty of choices and Sekt. Dinner was also good. There were nice areas for guests to walk the surrounding grounds, have a drink in a cosy lounge area and an easy access to the thermal baths. My facial (Sonia Noori) and massage (Valeria B.) Were expertly done and I would highly recommend them.

Everything was organized and laid out well. The baths had "hot" options with regular temperatures in the pool areas at 31 to 35. Very nice.

Peaceful atmosphere—perfect for recharging—and the great sauna zone, which was a real highlight. The convenient bus connection to the city was also a plus.

My stay was generally pleasant, but I was uncomfortable with how the staff handled entering the room. On one occasion, they knocked but entered immediately without giving me time to respond. This happened while I was in the middle of changing. I would strongly suggest that the staff wait for a response before entering to ensure guests' privacy is respected.

We should have got some more informations about the process, I mean : how to access the spa (we didn’t know that we needed bracelets, the time breakfast served, is there any animations on the wkend ? Little things like this. But we admit that we had great time there

Location and connection to the baths is unbeatable! Close to Freiburg and the baths are divine! Could have spent all our time there. Dinner was great, breakfast was exactly the same two days in a row though.

The hotel could benefit from a bit of refresh. Would be nice to have proper family rooms for 2 adults/2 kids and not to have to cram into one room with extra beds etc.

It`s a truly fantastic property, located in the thermal spa complex and at the foot of Black Forest. Fantastic stay, albeit short, after a full day of shopping in Freiburg. Very relaxing, quiet, with big, comfy room and the terrace which opens onto Black Forest. During the day, you can run/hike across Black Forest or hit the Thermal Spa - and stay there until the evening ;-) The local restaurant serves locally sourced and very yummy food. I appreciate the staff being very understanding and accommodating to my food requests. I am looking forward to going back there in the spring/summertime.

The electric charger was very slow- would take 5 hours to charge my battery which is too long. The restaurant was full and I had to ask several people to allow me to eat a warm meal - which they did and I highly appreciated it, but it was not until 30 minute of wait - should have been easier. The staff entered my room when I was there to check on the minibar- which I didn`t appreciate. There should have been more privacy.

Beautiful, quite clean, nice spa, friendly and helpful staff.

Why, why, why - why does the bathroom door is transparent? Who’s the genius that thought I would like to see my sister taking a shower or using the toilet? Also - gym facilities are SO old. Not relevant for people under 60.

Everything was great and extremely convenient for the location, from free parking, to a very large variety breakfast, offering all sorts of delicious choices, for all tastes. In addition, enjoying you meal while sipping on your morning coffee view a garden view and listening to the birds singing, what else ? We had a comfortable room and direct passage to very nice, clean and modern thermal baths, that we enjoyed all our stays. My husband and I were in a high need of a relaxing long-weekend and this hotel met all our expectations. Not to forget about the nice staff (who by the way speaks very good English) and the very friendly night barman (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) who made sure we were well served and enjoyed an evening drink in the coziness of the place. Tip: if you’re a beer lover, make sure to order a Freiburger beer (which is a local beer that’s very tasty).

The room we got to book didn’t have A/C on and the nights (even in the Black Forest) tended to get a bit hot for a comfortable sleep. However, the hotel staff made sure they found a solution for that as well and placed an electric fan to cool down during the night.

I was delighted with my stay this time. I think it is excellent that the Therme (pool) price is now included in the room price. I also appreciated the possibility of using the big gym/therapy room. The latter is a bit overheated as is the pool, but this is understandable due to their primary use (therapy, relaxation). I was always happy with the rooms also during my stays in the past. Very good service at the bar the evening I ate there.

Just be aware that the water in the pool is very warm (for lane swimming) as is the big exercise room/ gym - but that is understandable (see above). Thus, for cardio exercise, I recommend a bike tour or a run/walk in the woods around the hotel.

There's nothing special about the hotel itself, but! Excellent breakfast with champagne and free entrance to the annex thermal baths BOTH on the day of arrival and on the day of departure for the whole day! Make your calculations ;)
