The Breakfast was amazing and well worth the price. The Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms / hotel in general was clean and tidy. Good car parking on site with easy access to hotel.

To drive in Stuttgart you need to pay a Clean Air Zone Fee, like the one payable in London etc. We didn't realise this until our car Sat Nav told us that such a zone existed and that we needed a permit to enter the zone or we would suffer a fine. It may be useful to advise guests that they will need to source a permit when booking if travelling to the hotel by car. We did manage to buy one before entering the zone but it caused delay and stress we could have done without.

Breakfast was crowded at all times I would say but, the facility is quite big and you actually can see the crowd but don't feel it. Rooms are comfortable and quite spacious. The hotel itself is a bit old, you can even see it in the style but the bathrooms and rooms etc. were all in perfect condition. The location of the hotel is amazing. You can easily walk to the main square

Not much to be frank. All was great. The hotel had a tremendous traffic. I am not really sure if there was a car park but there were 2 private parking lots near the hotel so, I used those.

We had a great stay at Maritim Hotel! The location is excellent, and with the Booking.com discount, the value for money was fantastic. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was enjoyable—especially with the lovely view of squirrels playing outside through the window. However, there was a small but strange situation during check-in. While waiting in line, we noticed that everyone ahead of us was receiving a welcome bottle of water, but we weren’t given one. When we later inquired whether our booking type was different, another receptionist kindly provided us not only with water but also cold tea for our child, which was a very thoughtful gesture. It’s a small detail, but details matter, especially for such a renowned hotel chain like Maritim. Overall, our experience was very positive, and we’d definitely stay here again!

I LIKED EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE ONE LISTED BELOW

ROOM WAS QUITE WARM, NO AIR CONDITIONING OR VENTILATION. A ROOM FAN WOULD HAVE HELPED. WE WERE ABLE TO OPEN THE WINDOWS WITHOUT ATTRACTING MANY BUGS BUT THE TRAM RUNNING IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING JOLTED ME AWAKE SEVERAL TIMES. ALL IN ALL A VERY NICE HOTEL AND LOCATION. A FAN IN THE ROOM WOULD HAVE MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE AND I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR ONE BUT DIDN'T.

I had also stayed at the hotel in October 2024. this is the 2nd time I preferred Maritim. There are restaurant cafe bar facilities around the hotel. There are shopping and tourist attractions within walking distance. The rooms are large and spacious. The ventilation and heating system was adequate. the bathroom was clean and modern. With a special request, I preferred a room with a bathtub. My request was met by the hotel customer service. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Although it is not suitable for a negative evaluation, but I can only state that the TV is not smart TV. We had problems accessing screen sharing or digital TV applications.

We traveled around Germany and stayed in 4 different hotels. Maritim was our favorite. The decor might be a little outdated, but it actually adds a certain charm to the hotel. If you are traveling as a family of four, this is the best choice. This was the only hotel where we felt truly comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large, comfortable beds. The breakfasts were amazing. The Piano Bar was fantastic. We especially want to thank the lovely girl at the reception desk, unfortunately we don’t know her name, but we do know she is from Turkmenistan. Thank you so much!

wonderful breakfast, good size of the rooms, good wifi.

they had construction in the building and gave me a room where I had a drilling machine for hours. after several complains they gave me another room in another building saying it is an upgrade, but the only upgrade was the building. otherwise it was lower floor so less view, same size room. the staff does not speak good english, so they first sent a repair guy for the AC as they did not understand what I was complaining about. they have more buildings so you could get in the one farther from reception, spa and breakfast, a small underground walk .

Overall we had an enjoyable stay, the room was clean, well equipped and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good for accessing the city centre. The beds were really comfortable, the room was quiet and the shower was excellent!

I felt the the price was a little high for the level of hotel, despite the hotel being quite well appointed. The hotel was huge and not the easiest to find your way around, our room was in a separate building. This felt like a venue more accustomed to running large conferences. 66EUR to park the car for three days was far too expensive. There was no milk in the room to go with the tea & coffee station.

Staff are all very friendly, helpful and speak good English. The hotel is very big, so breakfast can get busy, but this is to be expected, however I always got a table without having to wait, and they do open up an adjoining function room and main restaurant when necessary. Location is just out of main town area, so about a 10 min walk or 4 min tram (underground) ride from 2 min walk from hotel. This suited me as it was a quiet area, but still with a few restaurants near by. I booked a superior double room, and although some guests say the bedrooms need refurbishing, and yes they are older compared to a brand new modern hotel, however I liked it, it was clean a bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice, and the electronic rain shower was excellent. The Piano Bar was excellent, always quite busy, so had a great atmosphere. There staff here were excellent and always friendly and served quickly, even when it was busy. Thanks for making my evenings enjoyable.

I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like. It would have been nice to have a few more English TV channels rather than just Sky News for the time I did spend in the room. Also, as other guests comments, the rooms are not that soundproof, however nothing to stop me from staying again.

The Maritim Hotel was a wonderful, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The room was nice and large, the facilities were great and they had ample parking in the garage (which is a big plus in downtown Stuttgart). The staff was pleasant and friendly and they even took great care of our dog!

It is a large hotel, so it was kind of a pain to walk such a long distance from the main lobby/reception area to our room. You had to take an elevator down, then walk through a long hallway, then take another elevator up to our floor, and still walk a long way to our room at the end of the hallway. Also, I have stayed in many nice hotels and I realize that it is no fault of thee hotel, but I have never had a view of a cemetary right outside my window! :-)
